Research On The Social Adaptation Of Children In Poverty Alleviation Relocation Communities Through Group Work Interventio

Under the background of poverty alleviation relocation in inhospitable areas,the society pays more attention to the lives of residents in relocated communities,and the services for children in relocated communities are also gradually increasing.Social work plays a very important role in improving children’s social adaptation,social participation,integration into society and family in relocated communities for poverty alleviation in inhospitable areas.The professional values of social work and the theories,methods and skills of guiding work also play a unique role in the field of intervening children’s social adaptation.At present,the field of social work’s involvement in children’s social adaptation in relocated poverty-alleviation communities in inhospitable areas is still in the exploratory stage,with few practical research results,which need to be further enriched through practice.This study takes the children of N community in Guiyang City as the research object,takes the growth group as the main working method,and takes the insufficient social adaptability of children in poverty-alleviation relocated communities in inhospitable areas as the research theme.Firstly,we collected data related to social adjustment of children in this community through interviews and estimated their needs,recruited 10 children in this community as service objects,and further understood their needs from the children themselves and their families through interviews.Under the guidance of social support theory and advantage perspective theory,we planned and carried out six growth group activities.Activities such as ability mining,family support,communication skills and emotional expression were carried out to improve the social adaptability of group members.Secondly,through the intervention of the growth group,in addition to enhancing the self-confidence and social ability of the members,the members established the correct social adaptation methods and made clear the importance of social adaptation.Therefore,the group work has a certain effect in improving the social adjustment of children in poverty-alleviation relocated communities in inhospitable areas.By carrying out this social work intervention activity,the author found that group work plays a positive role in improving children’s social adaptation.At the same time,the author also summarizes the problems in the process of carrying out this study,such as the lack of professional competence of social workers,limited coverage of research groups and insufficient continuous follow-up of service effects.After summarizing the experience and shortcomings,the author finally put forward the direction of work improvement from the aspects of improving the professional competence of social workers,constructing the social support network for relocated children and constructing the long-term mechanism of social work to serve the children.
