Teaching Research On The Cultural Value Of Chinese Articles On Relegation For Junior Middle School Compiled By MoE

With the unique appearance,distinctive character,vivid rhythm and profound meaning,Chinese articles on relegation have been recognized as a precious part of Chinese excellent traditional culture in addition to the extremely exquisite and emotive classical ancient poetry.This dissertation takes 12 articles on relegation as the research object which were compiled by Mo E for students from grade 7 to grade 9,with the teaching objectives to comprehensively improve students’ core literacy of Chinese subject,enhance cultural confidence,cultivate people through virtue,perfect personality and promote students’ comprehensive and individual development.Based on the in-depth exploration,analysis and sorting of its rich cultural content which is summarized into three aspects: institutional and behavioral cultural dimensions,literature and art,and cultural spirit.The institutional and behavioral culture content will be reflected in 10 aspects,such as official name and relegation system,banqueting customs and wine culture,ceremonial interactions,names and titles,chronology of years,categories of literary styles,geographical names,architecture,clothing and wearing,transportation carriage and horses,assorted items,etc.Cultural content in literature and art is classified in four aspects: the beauty of language,image,emotion and compositional presentation;The content in cultural spiritual aspects is summarized in three aspects:the cultural background of relegation,the unique aesthetic experience and the profound humanistic connotations which are mainly embodied in nine aspects,such as the deep feelings towards family and country,people-oriented thoughts,relationship between nature and human,ideal and ambition,personality cultivation,life attitude,literary concepts,writing principles and artistic pursuit.Based on the analysis of cultural background of the relegation,the unique aesthetic experiences of the author in such articles are interpreted from the perspective of literature and art psychology,and the author’s thoughts and emotions and their changes can be fully experienced in the context.According to the teaching objectives and contents of the selected articles on relegation,7 groups of teaching methods are designed in a student-centered way,mixing the heuristic,cooperative,inquiry,experiential,thematic and interdisciplinary teaching methods.Taking 7 such articles as examples,selecting 29 instructional designs and 21 teaching records to carry out teaching case analysis,this dissertation uncovers the problems of one-sided cultural content setting and narrow understanding during the teaching process and offer some suggestions for improvement.According to the teaching assumptions and teaching experience,7 groups of teaching methods are flexibly applied in the design of Remembering the Night Trip to Chengtian Temple.Through the analysis on the three cultural aspects in institutional and behavioral cultural dimensions,literature and art,and cultural spirit,which are implied in the articles on relegation,this dissertation is aimed to establish the close connection between the cultural values of such articles and students’ real life in the teaching practice,construct the channel of national culture and national spirit,comprehensively improve students’ core literacy of Chinese subject,cultivate people through virtue,perfect personality,enhance cultural confidence,and inherit and promote the excellent Chinese traditional culture.
