General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that efforts should be made to build an education system that comprehensively cultivates morality,intelligence,physique,beauty and labor,and form a higher-level talent training system.Secondary vocational schools are one of the main bodies in the implementation of vocational education.The training goal is to cultivate high-quality laborers and skilled talents with comprehensive development of moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and labor,strong comprehensive ability,and working in the front line of production or service.The implementation of labor education in secondary vocational schools must not only conform to its long-term development goals,but also implement the fundamental task of "cultivating people with morality",enhance the awareness of secondary vocational teachers’ labor concepts,and promote the development of secondary vocational students in all aspects.However,the current implementation of labor education in secondary vocational schools is still a shortcoming in school education that can not be ignored,and has become a major factor hindering secondary vocational schools from serving social and economic development.In this context,this study takes School D as the research object to understand the problems existing in the development of labor education at this stage,and to explore feasible solutions accordingly.Based on the talent training goals of secondary vocational schools and the development characteristics of secondary vocational students,this research mainly focuses on teachers’,students’ and parents’ perceptions of labor education,the time and frequency of students’ participation in labor,the content and form of school labor education,and school labor lessons.The current situation of the implementation of labor education in School D is analyzed from the aspects of establishment and class,the scale of school labor class teachers,the overall evaluation of school labor education,and school labor education home-school cooperation.Through the three research methods of questionnaire survey,interview method and classroom observation method,a questionnaire survey was conducted on 1182 students,105 teachers and 1060 parents of School D,and in-depth interviews were conducted with3 school managers and 5 school teachers and class teachers,10 secondary vocational students in different grades and majors,and 10 parents of students in different grades and majors.After arranging the survey data,a systematic analysis of the current situation of labor education in School D was carried out.Through systematic analysis,it is found that in the process of carrying out labor education in School D,there are problems such as deviations in the cognition of labor education by teachers,students and parents,ineffective implementation effect,and incomplete overall security system for school labor education.On this basis,the cause of the problem is analyzed from multiple angles and in an all-round way.In response to these problems,the following feasible countermeasures are proposed: 1.Comprehensively improve the cognition of labor education.2.Promote the implementation of school labor education measures.3.Improve various security conditions for the implementation of labor education.4.Carry out all-round education and strengthen the coordination between home,school,enterprise,society and industry.
