Research On The Image Of Ideal Primary School Teachers From The Perspective Of Parents

Education is the great plan of the country and the party.Our country has always advocated running education satisfactory to the people,and running education satisfactory to the people requires training teachers satisfactory to the people.Parents,as an important part of the people,should train teachers satisfactory to parents.The image of teachers has always been an important topic in the academic circles,and it has attracted more and more heated discussion.The existing research mainly discusses the ideal teacher image from the perspective of students and teachers,relatively ignores the demands of parents,and can not fully reflect the attribute of the ideal teacher image.With the introduction of the double reduction policy and the promotion of the requirements of home school co education,the important role of parents in primary school education is further highlighted.Therefore,from the perspective of parents,this study pays attention to the needs of parents for primary school teachers and understands the ideal image of primary school teachers in the eyes of parents,so as to provide reference for the construction of the ideal image of primary school teachers and improving the quality of primary school teachers.The study found that: first,there is a certain gap between the realistic teacher image and the ideal teacher image in the eyes of primary school students’ parents,and there is a long way to go to shape the ideal teacher image.Second,different parents have different expectations for the ideal image of primary school teachers,but there are also similarities.In terms of expectations for the identity characteristics of primary school teachers: parents are generally reluctant to choose novice teachers as their children’s educators,and put forward higher expectations for the specialization and academic qualifications of primary school teachers.In terms of teachers’ image quality: parents pay more attention to the internal image and professional image of primary school teachers,and mention the external image,but do not pay special attention to it.Third,through the comparative analysis of the ideal teacher image in the eyes of parents,primary school students and teachers,it is found that love and dedication and sense of responsibility are the primary criteria for parents,students and teachers to measure the ideal teacher,and the ideal teacher image in the eyes of parents and primary school students is highly consistent,which also shows that the ideal teacher image in the eyes of parents is reasonable.Fourth,the ideal teacher image in the eyes of parents has diversity and complexity due to the influence of many factors,so there will be some unreasonable elements.Therefore,parents should correctly guide their expectations for the ideal teacher image of primary school,so as to enable parents to establish correct educational expectations.Fifth,the characteristics of the ideal image of primary school teachers from the perspective of parents can be summarized into six aspects:ambition,knowledge,expertise,appearance,character and heart.Finally,the construction of the ideal image of primary school teachers needs the help of many aspects,but also the unremitting efforts of teachers themselves.This study also puts forward corresponding countermeasures for the construction of the image of ideal primary school teachers from many aspects,in order to provide reference for the cultivation,training,management and evaluation of teachers and their self-growth and development,and then provide reference and guidance for the emergence,growth and sustainable development of ideal teachers.
