The state advocates education that the people are satisfied with,and people's expectations for education are getting higher and higher.The social status of the teaching profession has been improved gradually,and the demands of the teaching profession are more and more.Teacher image has always been an important issue that people pay attention to.However,there are few researches focusing on the expectation of primary school students on teacher image.This study focuses on the ideal teacher image in the minds of contemporary primary school students,which can provide empirical data for front-line teachers to think about and provide reference for pre-service teacher training.In this study,233 questionnaires were distributed and 5 teachers were interviewed by interview method and questionnaire survey method.Study found that first,the elementary student's favorite teacher qualities of sorting is: patience tender(109 people),lecture vivid,one will understand(94 people),don't call names,not the corporal punishment(80people),humorous and interesting(77 people),does not require rote learning,make us feel happy in study(70 people),knowledgeable,can cause our positive thinking will(69),education me,help me to correct mistakes(69 people),fair and just to choose the class cadre(67 people),concerned about our physical and mental health(60),voice(48).Second,lower grade students pay more attention to teachers' appearance,such as beautiful clothes and long hair.Younger students also prefer teachers with good voices.Third,in the selection of two key words of patience,gentleness and humor,it is found that junior students like the teacher who is patient and gentle,middle students like the teacher who is patient,gentle and humorous,while senior students expect the teacher to be humorous and funny,followed by patience and gentleness.Fourth,the middle grade students most value the teacher "fair and just choice of class cadres";the senior students expect the teacher to "ask for our opinion",which reflects the middle and senior students' pursuit of justice and democracy.Fifth,the senior students also particularly hope that teachers "do not corporal punishment,do not swear".There are three main reasons for the difference in the ideal teacher image in the minds of different students.First,there are differences in the development of cognitive ability and expression ability of students in different learning stages;second,there are invisible influences of the teacher image in reality on students;third,there are differences in the learning pressure of students in different learning stages.Therefore,primary school teachers should pay attention to the shaping of their own image and teachers with different classmates should have different focuses Normal university students,as the main force of future education,should also pay attention to the shaping of teacher image.In addition,the selection and employment of primary school teachers should pay attention to the teacher's personality and teaching ability;primary schools should provide good working environment and development opportunities for teachers.
