| Today,with the vigorous development of preschool education,people gradually realize that the image of preschool teachers,as an invisible educational resource,will have a great impact on the growth and development of young children,so scholars have begun to pay attention to the research and shaping of the image of preschool teachers.However,in previous studies,most of the research ideas were adult-oriented,and there were only a few studies that focused on the perspective of young children to listen to children’s expectations and preferences for the image of preschool teachers.This study takes a total of 90 young children from three classes in a kindergarten in Xilin Golmeng League,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as the research object,and comprehensively uses research methods such as document analysis,interview,picture test,painting analysis,etc.,in accordance with the requirements of the Professional Standards for Kindergarten Teachers(Trial)(hereinafter referred to as the Professional Standards),trying to fully understand the internal and external characteristics of the image of teachers that children like.Specific research conclusions are as follows:1.The external image of teachers that children like: from the perspective of gender,most children prefer female teachers compared to male teachers;From the perspective of hairstyles,young children like female teachers to have long hair tied into ponytails,and male teachers to wear short heads;From the perspective of clothing,young children like female teachers to wear skirts,especially sports-style skirts,and male teachers like to wear sportswear;From the point of view of stature,both male and female teachers,young children like them to have tall and thin bodies;From the perspective of gesture language,children most expect teachers to interact with themselves in a sitting position in their daily lives.2.The external image of teachers that children like: in terms of professional concepts and morality: children prefer teachers with good character traits and educational attitudes,expect teachers to preach gently when mistakes are made,and are most afraid of criticism and accompanied by punishment I want to get help from teachers,especially when faced with new toys and situations where I can’t play with them;In terms of professional knowledge: children like the knowledge of the art field taught by teachers the most,most children expect to get help alone rather than publicly when they do not do things well,and when they encounter problems that they will not know,they prefer to get answers through exploration rather than directly told by the teacher,especially to explore the answers with the teacher;In terms of professional ability: Children expect specific and clear verbal praise,most like the play materials provided by teachers in the construction area,like teachers to interact with themselves frequently,and especially eager to play with teachers.Based on the data obtained from the study,the author further explored the factors that affect the image of teachers in the minds of young children,and clarified that factors from four aspects: children themselves,preschool teachers,kindergartens,and families can affect the expectations of young children towards the image of teachers.After determining the influencing factors and comparing with the specific data obtained in this study,the author consciously proposed targeted suggestions for shaping the teacher image that young children expect from three aspects: preschool teachers,kindergartens,and families.Specifically,preschool teachers should continuously deepen their professional concepts and moral construction,enrich their professional knowledge,and improve their professional abilities;In terms of kindergartens,the gender ratio of teachers in kindergartens should be balanced,allowing children to participate and elaborately designing uniforms;Parents should form a correct understanding of the image of preschool teachers themselves and actively maintain the image of teachers in front of young children. |
