With the complexity of environmental problems,environmental education has become a common concern of the society.Due to the high consistency between geography and environmental education in objectives and contents,the study of environmental education in senior high school geography teaching will help to improve students’ environmental literacy and cultivate a group of people with environmental awareness.Using the methods of literature research and inductive analysis,this paper combs and analyzes the contents of environmental education in senior high school geography textbooks and college entrance examination questions in recent two years,reveals the close relationship between environmental education and geography education,and finds that the content of environmental education in textbooks and questions are rich,but teachers need to optimize the relevant teaching materials in textbooks to ensure the systematicness of environmental education.This paper also uses the methods of questionnaire and interview to investigate the current situation of environmental education in senior high school geography teaching,and finds that there are mainly the following problems: At the school level,insufficient attention and lack of special environmental teaching facilities and resources will affect the implementation effect of environmental education to a certain extent;At the level of teachers,due to the lack of research and training of environmental education and the influence of responsive education,teachers have a single way to implement environmental education and evaluate students;At the student level,due to high school students’ academic tension,lack of interest in environmental current events and policies,and their behavior habits are easily affected by family members,senior high school students have a weak foundation of environmental knowledge,lack of understanding of China’s environmental current events and policies,and the disconnection between environmental awareness and environmental behavior.In order to improve the effectiveness of environmental education in senior high school geography teaching,the following strategies are put forward: From the school level,it is suggested that schools and teachers should pay more attention to environmental education;Improve various teaching facilities and build a library of teaching resources for environmental education.From the perspective of teachers,it is suggested that teachers change the concept of environmental education and strengthen the study and research of environmental education;Enrich the forms of environmental education and teaching evaluation.From the perspective of students,it is suggested that students change their learning ideas and strengthen their learning of environmental knowledge;Actively pay attention to current news released by mainstream media and increase knowledge reserve;Integrate theory with practice and turn good environmental protection consciousness into environmental protection behavior.Finally,taking "how much do we know about lowcarbon food" as an example,the teaching case design of environmental education content in high school geography teaching is carried out,in order to provide reference for front-line teachers. |
