As an organized,purposeful and planned practice activity,teaching must be carried out under certain time and space conditions.Diverse teaching time and space views will lead to different teaching understandings and teaching behaviors of educators.Usually,teaching time is expressed in one class hour(40 or 45minutes)or a certain period of time,and teaching space supports teaching in tangible and intangible ways.,teaching time and teaching space are a relational existence.However,the academic circle’s understanding of teaching space is far less profound than teaching time,and the value of teaching space has not been fully exerted.In essence,teaching activities are carried out through time and space,and teaching space exists as a relationship of teaching activities,and education has become the key attribute of teaching space.The environment is crucial to human development,and the story of "Meng’s mother moving three times" in history is the best proof of education.In the 1990 s,studies closely related to "teaching space" began to appear in the field of view of education and teaching researchers in my country.Scholars have pointed out that the teaching environment has multiple relationships with students’ classroom teaching and learning.After entering the 21 st century,the pace of school informatization construction has accelerated,and the society’s attention to the cultivation of students’ core literacy and the development of comprehensive quality has further increased.Scholars at home and abroad have tried to improve and optimize the existing classroom space,teacher-student relationship,campus culture and other aspects.To promote the development of students and better adapt to social requirements.In this context,this study takes the teaching space as the starting point,and students as the main body in the teaching space,and the focus of the research is shifted from the transformation of "things" to the adaptation of "people",aiming to optimize the teaching space to promote The smooth development of teaching with the goal of student development provides environmental support,and promotes the reorganization and improvement of teaching activities to maximize the role and value of teaching space.This study starts with the analysis of teaching space and its related concepts,understands the construction and current situation of teaching space through participatory observation,interviews and other methods,analyzes the role and function of each subspace in the teaching space,and then proposes a teaching space based on student development.Optimize strategies to deepen schools and teachers’ understanding of teaching space,promote the improvement of teaching quality in primary and secondary schools,and achieve the all-round development of primary and secondary school students.The full text is divided into six parts:Part One Introduction.It mainly explains the research questions,literature review,research purpose and significance,research ideas and methods,and the difficulties and innovations of the research.The second part is the connotation and composition of teaching space.Firstly,it interprets the connotation of teaching space and student development,and analyzes the internal logical relationship between teaching and teaching space,teaching environment and teaching space,teaching field and teaching space,teaching time and teaching space in the teaching space part.Teaching space is a place where teaching activities take place,a dynamic space that can meet the actual needs of teaching and promote the development of students’ literacy,and a formal and open field for education and learning formed by the interaction of various elements of teaching activities.It mainly includes physical space,knowledge space,discourse space,emotional space and cultural space.The third part investigates the current situation of teaching space in primary and secondary schools.A total of 31 urban schools,village primary schools,township central schools and middle schools were investigated,taking A city B city B city C county D county in province H and city A city B in province J as the survey objects.There were 17 individual interviews and 6 group interviews,with a total of 38 teachers interviewed;15 classroom observations,with a total of 617 students.Starting from the analysis of the purpose,object,method and content of the investigation,the current situation and existing problems of physical space,knowledge space,discourse space,emotional space and cultural space are analyzed.The fourth part is the theoretical basis for the optimization of teaching space based on student development.Based on the space view of coexistence of material and spirit in ancient Chinese and Western philosophy,the three-dimensional dialectical space epistemology,space power theory,space emotion theory in sociology,and the concept of education,classroom teaching sociology,power from the perspective of pedagogy As a theoretical basis,it provides a theoretical basis for the teaching space optimization strategy.The fifth part is the basic strategy of teaching space optimization based on student development.Based on the investigation and analysis of the current situation,theoretical basis and frame analysis,aiming at the existing problems,the basic strategies for optimization are proposed from the physical space,knowledge space,discourse space,emotional space and cultural space.The innovations of this research are as follows: First,the research perspective is new.Taking the teaching space in reality and online teaching activities as the breakthrough point,and examining the factors that promote the development of primary and secondary school students,not only regard the teaching space as a new type of space for education and teaching,but also regard the teaching space as a driving force for the development of students.Second,the research perspective is new.By providing physical space for basic places,knowledge space for establishing cultural foundation,discourse space for promoting students to learn to learn and improve their personality,emotional space for ensuring students’ healthy life,and cultural space for strengthening responsibility,the five teaching spaces work together to achieve education,and to educate people.The cooperation of teaching elements further constructs a classroom teaching space that meets the needs of teachers and students,and proposes a basic strategy for the optimization of classroom teaching space based on student development.
