Research On The Strategy Of Beach Volleyball In The Promotion Of Public Physical Education Courses In Colleges And Universities In Hainan Province

Beach volleyball originated on the beaches of the United States in the 1920 s.Beach volleyball,as a sport with the characteristics of leisure,entertainment,fitness,and competition,was formally included in the Olympic Games by the International Olympic Committee in 1996,and it has been formally developed in various countries around the world.At present,more than 130 countries have launched activities and competitions for beach volleyball.In this study,methods such as literature data method and mathematical statistics method are used to investigate and analyze the development status of beach volleyball in colleges and universities in Hainan Province.On this basis,SWOT theory and methods are used to analyze the development status of beach volleyball in colleges and universities in Hainan Province and put forward corresponding strategies.Conclusion as below:(1)There are differences in the level of beach volleyball and the construction of venues and facilities among colleges and universities in Hainan Province.Through investigation and research,there is only one college in Hainan Province that offers beach volleyball in public physical education classes.(2)Hainan’s colleges and universities have insufficient awareness of beach volleyball,lack of professional beach volleyball teachers,insufficient attention by schools,and serious shortage of venue facilities,which affect the normal development of beach volleyball courses.(3)SWOT analysis The advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of beach volleyball promotion in colleges and universities in Hainan Province coexist.The advantage(S)is that the establishment of the national beach volleyball training base and the holding of large-scale events bring infinite vitality to Hainan,the development of the sports industry under the background of the "free trade port" construction,the value characteristics of beach volleyball itself,and the needs of young people’s sports interests.,Hainan’s unique climatic and geographical advantages;the disadvantage(W)is that the high temperature and rainy weather in summer hinders the development of beach volleyball,the lack of beach volleyball teachers and venue facilities,and the unbalanced development of the overall level of beach volleyball;the opportunity(O)is The promotion of new sports under the background of healthy China and national fitness,the policy dividend of Hainan Provincial Government’s support for beach volleyball,the stimulation of the development of the sports industry by the holding of the Asian Sand Games,the reform of sports teaching and the promotion of the improvement of the level of campus competition;the threat(T)is that the impact of other sports has brought difficulties to the development of beach volleyball,the general awareness of beach volleyball in colleges and universities is low,and the promotion of beach volleyball in colleges and universities is insufficient.According to the development status of beach volleyball in colleges and universities in Hainan Province,combined with the SWOT analysis method,put forward the promotion strategy of beach volleyball in the public physical education class of colleges and universities in Hainan Province:1.Expand publicity efforts to improve students’ cognitive ability of beach volleyball;2.In line with the needs of free trade port construction,strengthen the training of beach volleyball professionals;3.Improve the construction of beach volleyball court facilities in colleges and universities in Hainan Province;4.Fully integrate the campus Teaching resources to improve the utilization rate of existing resources;5.Innovate course teaching methods and broaden the boundaries of course teaching;6.Make full use of the advantages of beach volleyball training bases to promote point-to-point;7.Promote physical education teaching reform and optimization;8.Make full use of national policy dividends to increase the number of beach volleyball games.
