Interpersonal communication problems mainly refer to the problems or phenomena in which individuals cannot communicate smoothly with others due to physical or psychological reasons in the process of interacting with others or groups.At present,some colleges and universities have different levels of interpersonal communication difficulties.The existence of these problems is related to a variety of factors such as personal personality factors,family factors,educational factors,the impact of typical events,network information,and the social environment.College students with difficulties in interpersonal communication are prone to loneliness,marginalization,low self-esteem,depression,and social hatred.If the person lacks a good psychological defense mechanism or self-adjustment and control ability,and cannot receive timely care and help,the long-term psychological backlog or the stimulation of occasional events may cause anxiety,autism,insomnia,and depression in college students.And many other negative emotions and psychological problems.In recent years,there have been frequent suicides among college students caused by poor interpersonal communication.Therefore,it is urgent to improve the interpersonal skills of college students.This thesis conducts a survey on interpersonal communication among college students of S University and finds that some college students mainly have emotional indifference between roommates and disharmonious relationships in interpersonal relationships;teacher-student relationships are formalized and lack emotional communication;students and their parents do not communicate with each other.Smooth,prominent contradictions and other issues.The existence of the above-mentioned problems has brought troubles and negative effects to the normal study and life of these students.To help college students solve these problems,social workers develop social work growth groups to improve the interpersonal skills of college students in the group.This article explores the significance of social work involved in the interpersonal skills of college students,and takes the "Meet a Better Me" Interpersonal Relationship Improvement and Growth Group of S University as an example to carry out practical research on group work.In group activities,guided by self-in-mirror theory,cognitive behavior theory,and superior perspective theory,the interpersonal skills of college students are analyzed,and the causes of group members’ dilemmas mainly include misunderstanding of themselves and interpersonal relationships.Poor understanding and lack of interpersonal skills,etc.Combining these analyses,choose to develop a social work growth group to solve problems,design group activity plans,carry out group practice,evaluate work effects,and reflect on the deficiencies of practical work.This article believes that through the development of interpersonal skills to improve growth group activities,social workers help group members to strengthen the social support network,deepen the self-awareness of the group members,and improve the interpersonal skills of the group members.The growth group work method is solving the problem of college students.Effective on interpersonal communication issues.This article hopes to provide experience or enlightenment for similar social society work services through the research of group work practice.
