In 2019,General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized at the symposium of teachers of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities across the country: "Ideological and political theory courses are the key courses to implement the fundamental task of building morality and cultivating people".The ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities aims to cultivate the soul and educate people.It has the dual attributes of value and knowledge.It is a basic course for cultivating new talents of the era who are brave enough to shoulder the responsibility of national rejuvenation.As the main body of ideological and political education,college students’ cognition of ideological and political theory courses directly affects their interest in learning and willingness to participate in the course,and is related to the realization of the fundamental task of morality and cultivating people.Therefore,it is crucial to enhance the attractiveness of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.The attractiveness of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities can be defined as in the process of ideological and political course teaching,the relevant elements of the course play an active role on students,so that students can consciously focus their attention,learning interest,willingness to participate,and importance cognition to the course.The power of the curriculum is embodied in five aspects: interest fit,value guidance,theoretical acceptance,practical participation and curriculum practicability.This paper is based on the theory of Marxist anthropology,constructivist learning theory and ideological and political education process theory.Comprehensively use grounded theory,literature research method,interview method,questionnaire method and other methods to study the influencing factors,status quo,problems and causes of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,and propose targeted measures.By using the interview method and grounded theory qualitative research method,16 interviewees were interviewed,and the interview text was subjected to open coding,selective coding and main axis coding in turn,and finally the influencing factors of the attractiveness of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities were deduced.Among them,teaching content,teaching method,teacher-led and teaching interaction as classroom teaching elements are the direct influencing factors.Teaching environment,assessment mechanism,school role and peer influence as external constraints are indirect influencing factors.Subjective will and individual development are hidden influencing factors.At the same time,there are interaction forces among various elements,including the guiding effect of external constraints on internal self-consciousness,the guaranteeing effect of external constraints on classroom teaching,and the promoting effect of classroom teaching on internal self-consciousness.Based on the above theoretical model,relevant questionnaires are formulated to provide data support for research on the current situation of the attractiveness of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities and problem exploration.The results show that the overall attractiveness of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities is better.The specific performance is that ideological and political courses give full play to the fundamental task of morality and cultivating people,teachers’ classroom teaching ability is recognized by students,and effectively promotes the all-round development of students,and colleges and universities attach more importance to the construction of ideological and political courses.The assessment method of the course is also constantly improving.However,it should still be seen that there are some problems with the attractiveness of ideological and political courses.For example,the teaching content and method of ideological and political courses are not innovative enough,the interaction between teachers and students in the teaching process is not good,the various elements of the curriculum have not fully mobilized students’ willingness to learn,and the positive guiding force of peer groups has not been fully exerted.The reasons are that the teaching content and methods are not well matched with students’ interests,teachers and students have errors in their understanding of teaching roles and status,students are disturbed by stereotypes and utilitarian tendencies,and ideological and political courses have neglected the classroom influence of peer groups.In view of this,we should effectively activate the classroom elements of ideological and political courses based on the eight unifications,clarify the status of teachers and students,deepen the interactive mode of classroom teaching,stimulate internal motivation to enhance students’ initiative in learning ideological and political courses,gather multiple forces to give full play to ideological and political courses synergy effect.
