Practical Research On The Intervention Of Medical Social Work In Doctor-patient Contradiction

The doctor-patient relationship is a hot topic in society.The vicious "medical injury" and "medical trouble" events have attracted close attention from the society.How to effectively deal with the contradictions between doctors and patients and balance the interests of both doctors and patients has aroused discussion from all walks of life.However,under the existing doctor-patient contradiction mediation mechanism,the relationship between doctors and patients has not been actively improved.With the development and progress of social work in China,medical social work has gradually come into people’s vision.Therefore,this study attempts to explore the feasibility of medical social work in dealing with the doctor-patient relationship and doctor-patient contradiction through the case practice of medical social work,focusing on the problem of "how to intervene in dealing with the contradiction between doctors and patients".Based on ecosystem theory,this paper analyzes the crisis factors of doctor-patient contradiction,and explores the corresponding solutions.The research object of this paper is the Doctor-patient Conflict cases of L Hospital in Guangzhou.Through the analysis of the research data,it is found that there is a general need for doctor-patient relationship coordination in all clinical departments.The Doctor-patient Conflict cases can be divided into three categories: emotional state,medical results and medical expenses.The hospital’s administrative mediation mechanism can play a positive role in coordinating doctor-patient conflicts,but there is a lag in handling,and the patients’ economic and emotional problems cannot be solved,Difficult to repair the doctor-patient relationship.Through the research,it is found that medical social workers can effectively deal with doctor-patient contradictions through emotional care and counseling,improving communication and linking resources.On the basis of practical case analysis,combined with the limitations of the current administrative mediation mechanism of medical institutions,this paper puts forward the treatment methods and suggestions of medical social work involved in the contradiction between doctors and patients: at the micro level,actively improve the emotional state of patients and enhance the confidence and ability to solve problems;At the meso level,establish the communication mechanism of "medical care patient social worker" and the working mode of "department social worker",strengthen communication,supplement and improve the administrative mediation process of the hospital,and timely refer medical social workers to intervene in the early stage of conflict;At the macro level,medical social workers communicate and cooperate with social workers in many fields,provide resource information,and link social resources for patients,so as to alleviate the contradiction between doctors and patients and improve the relationship between doctors and patients.
