Research On The Sports Ecological Competitiveness Of Colleges And Universities In Guangdong Province

With the development of higher education in our country,the competition among colleges and universities is becoming more and more intense.Maintaining ecological competition among colleges and universities is directly related to the survival and development of colleges and universities,and to the economic development and prosperity of the country.How colleges and universities establish their own strong ecological niche in the competition and clarify their level and status in the college system is not only a prerequisite for colleges and universities to maintain or develop their own characteristics,but also a strategic issue for college development.As an important part of higher education,so is the development of college sports.In the process of college sports development,competition is inevitable,and cooperation is imperative.Therefore,in order to realize the sustainable development of college sports,it is necessary to maintain or develop its own characteristics.Based on the analysis of the current situation and problems of college sports competition,this paper conducts research in accordance with the logical framework of the research and evaluation of college sports ecological niche,the research and evaluation of college sports ecological competitiveness,and the countermeasures for college sports to enhance ecological competitiveness.Based on the theories of pedagogy,ecology,management,and systems science,some practical viewpoints and countermeasures are put forward from both theoretical and practical aspects.Its main contents are as follows:1.Using the method of systematic analysis to explore the schools and characteristics of domestic and foreign higher education theories,educational ecology theories,and competition theories,and their impact on my country’s higher education;to discuss the ecological characteristics of educational ecology,and to summarize domestic and foreign scholars’ opinions on educational ecology.aspects of the discussion.It provides theoretical basis and support for the research on ecological competition in higher education.2.Expounding the meaning of college sports ecosystem;defining the connotation of college sports ecological niche;expounding that college sports with competitive relationship can form the phenomenon of competition exclusion,competition overlapping,competition separation,etc.When positioning schools,they can achieve “market” segmentation based on the principle of ecological niche,and consider ecological niches such as resources,time,scale,space,compression or release,and movement,so as to achieve ecological education.The situation model of the ecological niche of colleges and universities is constructed,which lays the foundation for the evaluation of the ecological niche of college sports.3.Using the college niche model to analyze the niche size of college sports in 23 colleges and universities in Guangdong Province.The evaluation results can provide a reference for education managers to correctly understand the status of sports in colleges and universities under their jurisdiction.4.This paper expounds the connotation of the ecological competitiveness of college sports from three aspects: ecology,education ecology and college sports theory: the ecological competitiveness of college sports refers to the ability of college sports to survive and develop harmoniously in the ecological environment,and Ability to contribute to economic,technological and social progress.It refers to the role of college sports activities in the ecological environment.By improving and innovating the original education operation and management mode,it can gain new competitive advantages in physical education,scientific research and social services.This competitive advantage is conducive to improving the efficiency of physical education teaching in colleges and universities,effectively grasping educational opportunities,and establishing school image.From the perspective of ecological competitiveness,the ecological competitiveness of college sports needs to solve the following two problems: first,to solve the internal ecological development of college sports;second,to solve the coordination relationship between the internal and external environment of college sports.(4)Construction of the evaluation system of college sports ecological competitiveness.Deconstructing the influencing factors that affect the size of the college sports niche into 6elements,namely "teaching conditions","funding sources","faculty strength","student status","sports competition","school reputation","environmental resources" ”,and on this basis,constructed an evaluation index system of college sports ecological competitiveness,including 1 dimension,6 influencing factors,and 35 specific indicators.The evaluation index of ecological competitiveness enriches the theoretical system of sports evaluation in colleges and universities.5.Analyzed the development of sports ecological competitiveness of colleges and universities in Guangdong Province,and found that there are some problems in the development of college sports in Guangdong Province.For example,some colleges and universities have relatively weak teachers and a large number of students.The situation will increase the work intensity and fatigue of physical education teachers,thus affecting the quality of teaching.The development scale of physical education teachers and staff in some colleges and universities exceeds the development scale of their students,which will bear more expenses and higher education costs;some colleges and universities do not pay attention to the development of college sports,and the sports performance niche In previous competitions are in a lower ranking.The existence of these problems will hinder the development of sports in colleges and universities.6.Under the guidance of the ecological competition strategy,put forward the countermeasures to improve the ecological competitiveness of college sports from four aspects: concept,elements,system and environment:(1)Establish a concept of ecological competition in college sports characterized by the concept of ecological niche;(2)To optimize the allocation of sports elements in colleges and universities;(3)To establish a scientific,ecological and reasonable college sports system;(4)To adapt and create an ecological environment suitable for the healthy development of college sports.It has a certain reference for the scientific and rational development of ecological competition strategies in colleges and universities.
