Localization Of Higher Education In Heilongjiang Province From The Ecological Niche Perspective

In the ecosystem of higher education, various ecological coexistence and competition between the main bodies are determined by the ecological niche where they locate。With the arrival of popularization of higher education, some universities have not made their reasonable localization, so role confusion and overlapped ecological niche occur in this ecosystem。This can not meet the development needs of knowledge-based economy and affects the process of economic development, thus severely weakens the core competitive power of our country。The relationship among different education-ecology parts depends on their ecology-position. in higher education ecosystem, every education-ecology part has its own ecology-position. However, some universities don't make proper location, leading to confusion. Therefore, a suitable higher educational tributary system must constructed in order to promote the development of higher education ecosystem..In this paper, a systematic analysis on domestic and foreign higher educational institutions and research settings is carried out from an ecological niche perspective。It is pointed out that the overlapped ecological niche occurs in some universities, which is caused by the ambiguous localization, blind expansion, duplication, and disorderly competition。The reasons for the formation of this situation are addressed。An ideal localization model for higher education is established by adopting the theory of ecological niche。A set of strategies suitable to the educational conditions of Heilongjiang Province is constructed by the theory of higher education diffluence from perspectives of policy and system level, the university itself, and people's attitudes to make the higher education localization of Heilongjiang Province more reasonable。Thus the giant university and the pocket-sized institute can stand side-by-side, and an ideal situation of harmonious coexistence for them can be realized。A healthier ecosystem of higher education is built up and the coordinated and sustainable development of the system is realized as well, which promotes the economic development in Heilongjiang Province faster and better。...
