| In the early stage of teacher development,new primary school teachers are lack of professional development.Moreover,they have to bear the burden of non-teaching work,such as school administration,management and inspection,which greatly affects the professional development of new teachers and the construction of teachers.In this case,this study puts the question "What is the current work burden of new teachers? Are new teachers overburdened? What are some of the factors that affect the workload of new teachers? How to take effective measures to reduce the burden of new teachers?"In this study,eight new teachers were selected as the research objects.By interviewing,observing and collecting the work logs of new teachers,the data were encoded with Nvivo 11,which is a qualitative research tool,to describe the current work burden of new primary school teachers: The total amount of working hours is long and the distribution of working time is unreasonable;In terms of work content,there is a heavy burden of teaching work,such as writing teaching plans,doing class management,filling in forms,doing publicity,handing in materials,writing wechat manuscripts and some non-teaching work caused by the outbreak of "epidemic".At the same time,it is found that the new teachers show doubts about their teaching ability,and the large amount of class hours,compulsory non-teaching work bring pressure to the new teachers.With the help of relevant theories,this paper explores the reasons for the heavy work burden of new teachers.The research finds that the heavy work burden of new teachers is influenced by the external social environment,including excessive social attention to education,the "double reduction" policy,and the outbreak of the epidemic.At the same time,the school environment has the problems sunch as the insufficient of teacher resources and school management anomia;Due to the lack of professional development of new teachers,professional identity and individual differences of new teachers,new teachers show differences in the perception of individual work burden.This study puts forward some suggestions to reduce the workload of new teachers from both internal and external dimensions.On the one hand,the responsibilities of new teachers should be clarified,that is,the workload of new teachers should be reduced;On the other hand,to improve the professional quality of new teachers,that is,to solve the work burden of new teachers in terms of their professional identity,professional development,time management and reading.The main methods are as follows: to clarify the responsibilities of teachers;Guide the society to correctly understand the new teachers;Effectively solve the problem of teacher resources.Schools need to show more respect and help new teachers;Using various evaluation methods and teaching research activities to promote the growth of new teachers.New teachers themselves should retain the original intention of education;arrange fragmented working hours possibly;reduce work pressure by reading books. |
