| As an important space for the growth of children aged 3-6,kindergarten’s spatial environment has a vital impact on the healthy growth of children.Due to the influence of traditional educational mind,children’s development is usually interfered by adults intentionally or unintentionally,which result in the neglect of children’s growth law.Therefore,current kindergarten interior space is facing the problems of space design from the perspective of adults,isolated and closed space layout,standardized and homogeneous infrastructure and single form space function.The theory of child friendliness provides new ideas for the transformation of kindergarten interior design and provides appropriate solutions to problems.This topic takes the kindergarten indoor space as the research object,supported by the child friendly theory.Firstly,combined with literature and research,this thesis summarizes the physical,psychological and behavioral characteristics and needs of 3-6-year-old children,and combs the internal relationship between theory and object.Secondly,based on the field investigation,this thesis analyzes and summarizes the current situation and shortcomings of the indoor space of domestic kindergartens,and puts forward five space design principles combined with the characteristics of child-friendly theory and child-friendly standards.Thirdly,in order to improve the friendliness of the kindergarten’s indoor space,in the space design,we emphasize inclusive design,color to guide positive emotions,improve the safety of space details,emphasize children’s participation,and ensure children’s growth needs.In the spatial layout,it emphasizes the fuzzy boundary of open space,strengthening visual guidance and clearing migration of combined moving line.In the infrastructure,emphasis is placed on adding life elements,optimizing material selection and using appropriate dynamic scale in order to release children’s nature.In the space function,it emphasizes multi-dimensional function,new media and rich forms of expression,and carries the child friendly atmosphere.Finally,the design principles and methods are applied to the design practice to prove the feasibility of this study by taking Qingdao Tongxin kindergarten as an example.This thesis hoped that through the perspective of child friendliness,we can explore the ideas of kindergarten interior space design that pays attention to children themselves,overcome the common problems of kindergarten interior design,and provide reference for the relevant research of kindergarten interior design in the future. |
