Climate change is a global issue of widespread concern to the international community,which related to the process of building a Community of Shared Future for Mankind.Climate change education is becoming a compulsory course for modern citizens,and it is also an important path to deal with climate change.Middle school is the main position to implement climate change education.Compared with other subjects,geography has an important advantage in climate change education.This study focuses on exploring the content system and teaching status of climate change education,providing teaching optimization strategies for climate change education in senior high schools,and making geography education contribute to global sustainable development.This paper constructs the content system of geography and climate change education in senior high schools and summarizes the teaching content and teaching direction of climate change education.To understand high school and senior high school geography teachers’ emotional attitude towards the issue of climate change,cognition,and on the importance of climate change education and classroom implementation,design and implementation of the student questionnaire and teacher interviews,summed up the middle school geography education existing problems: climate change climate change education is relatively lack of penetration of geography ideology;The teaching method of climate change education is relatively simple;The sources of climate change education materials are relatively single;The cultivation of teachers’ emotional attitude and values in teaching climate change needs to be strengthened.To come to the conclusion that the problem as the starting point,combining building climate change education content system,to provide practical and feasible education optimization strategy of teaching high school geography climate change,and to the climate change and national security as an example,the section provides a complete teaching design case,so as to offer reference for high school geography teachers.Geography and climate change education in senior high school has a broad research prospect: to link geography and education,to conduct in-depth research and improvement,to improve the geography and climate change education in senior high school,so that it can be promoted in theory and practice.
