Research On The Status,Problems And Solutions Of Curling In Shanghai Under The Background Of Developing Winter Sports Fromnorth-to-South Strategy

Shanghai introduced curling in 2012,and it is carried out on a small scale in schools in some districts using a model of integrating sports and education.In 2015,after Beijing won the right to host the Winter Olympics,policies related to winter sports were introduced intensively,and then the curling sport accelerated in Shanghai.However,in recent years,the scale of curling in universities of Shanghai has been reduced,and the socialization of curling in Shanghai has also been slow.The purpose of this study is to take advantage of the opportunity of the Winter Olympics in China to deeply study the current situation of curling in Shanghai,analyze the current problems and difficulties in the development of curling in Shanghai,and then propose future development countermeasures to help China’s "Arctic Ice".The further implementation of the policy of “expanding from the south to the east,expanding to the west” will provide a certain development model and successful experience for other southern cities that have not yet launched curling to introduce this sport in the future.This research uses literature review,interviews,questionnaires,field visits and logical analysis to collect first-hand information about curling in Shanghai in terms of sports talent training,coaching team training,venue resources,and competition organization and security.and analyze.The study found that curling has experienced nearly 10 years of development in Shanghai and has achieved certain results,but there are still insufficient guarantees for the development of athletes,lack of junior curling coaches and low professionalism,insufficient promotion of curling clubs,and ice cream.Due to the lack of potting site resources and the different standards of curling in dryland,the promotion effect is worth discussing in these five aspects.According to the above problems in the development of curling in Shanghai,this study proposes 7 countermeasures: first,to create a comprehensive curling talent training system integrating sports and education;second,to establish a curling coach training system;Third,government departments will take the lead in building more curling venues;fourth,with the help of the "double reduction" policy,to promote curling into campuses;fifth,with the help of scientific and technological means,improve the degree of land curling simulation;sixth,strengthen media publicity,innovative promotion forms;seventh,to undertake high-standard curling events.
