| With the continuous reform and development of national education,the policy of "double reduction" has been promoted nationwide in the autumn semester of 2021,with major primary and secondary schools and after-school training institutions actively responding to the national call.In the implementation of the "double reduction" policy at the same time,because of the particularity of rural areas,children’s self-management ability is not strong,can not effectively use the spare time.Therefore,this study is committed to improving the time self-management ability of rural children from the perspective of social work.Based on B Social Work Service Center in Q County,this study uses participatory observation and interview method to understand the problems and needs of primary school children in T village in self-management ability and time management tendency,and analyzes the reasons for their insufficient time self-management ability.On this basis,according to social learning theory and empowerment theory,from the sense of time value,sense of efficacy and monitoring three aspects of the design of service plan,carry out group work,cultivate team members to establish the concept of time management,improve work efficiency,reasonable use of spare time,master the method of time management.The findings are as follows: first,after the researcher’s investigation,children in T village have a need to improve the "time" factor in self-management ability;Secondly,through the intervention of the group work,the researchers found that the time management ability of the group members had been improved to varying degrees on the whole;Third,the group activities to improve the time self-management ability of rural children are suitable to be carried out in rural areas with relatively backward educational resources.Fourthly,for rural areas with underdeveloped social work industry,group activities need the joint efforts of the village social work office and the local primary school.Fifthly,the improvement group of rural children’s time self-management ability is suitable for primary school students in rural areas.Sixth,in order to improve the implementation effect of group activities,it needs the support of social learning theory and empowerment theory.Researchers reflect from four aspects: group theory,group practice,realistic conditions and their own limitations.In view of the shortcomings existing in the research process,the corresponding suggestions are put forward at last: first,arrange the time schedule of group activities reasonably and improve the service content;Second,the use of other social work methods to supplement personality problems;Third,coordinate the efforts of children,families,schools and society to enhance practical effectiveness. |
