The Internet has become the main battlefield of public opinion.In this battlefield,whether we can do a good job in public opinion management is of great significance to social stability.Nowadays,with the rapid development of the Internet,college teachers and students are accustomed to getting to know the school situation,social situation and public situation through the Internet and new media,and express their own opinions on the key problems of colleges and society and the problems they care about.These opinions have formed network public opinions along with the rapid spread of new media,making colleges become the main positions for formation and evolution of network public opinions.As an adult college,the Open University of Fujian also faces new challenges such as management awareness,management talents,management technology and emergency response in its network public opinion management.Therefore,in the new media era,it is particularly important to strengthen the research on network opinion management of the Open University of Fujian.By comparing and analyzing the differences between the traditional media era and the new media era,adult colleges and universities,this study summarizes the characteristics and evolution cycle of adult college network public opinion in the new media era,and analyzes the situation faced by adult colleges’ network public opinion management in the new media era.By using the methods of investigation,interview and case study,focusing on the network public opinion management of the Open University of Fujian,this study analyzes the current situation of network public opinion management of the Open University of Fujian in the new media era,points out the problems existing in the network public opinion management of the Open University of Fujian,and deeply analyzes the reasons.The study also puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for strengthening the management of network public opinion in adult colleges in the new media era,improving the scientific level of network public opinion management in adult colleges,and providing reference for the management of network public opinion in adult colleges and the whole education system.The main points of this study include: the evolution cycle of adult colleges’ network public opinion in the new media era can be divided into incubation period,active period and attenuation period;and the opinion presents the characteristics of instant communication,wide range of fields and multidirectional interaction and so on.At present,the network public opinion management of adult colleges in the new media era has received extensive attention,technical monitoring methods are changing rapidly day by day,and the emergency requirements are increasing.By taking the research on the network public opinion management of the Open University of Fujian,it is found that the network public opinion management of the Open University of Fujian has achieved certain results in system construction,organization,staffing and monitoring services.However,based on the 4R crisis management theory,it is found that there are still many problems in the reduction period,readiness period,response period and recovery period of network public opinion management.The reasons of these problems mainly include backward management concepts,lagging team construction,slow updating of technology,lack of communication platform and insufficient guidance.In view of the above analysis,it is suggested that the Open University of Fujian should improve the scientific and standardized management level from the aspects of management awareness,team building,emergency response,image restoration and platform construction,so as to create a good atmosphere for a harmonious and stable campus network public opinion environment. |
