Research purpose:Taking Wuxi Liren Primary School as an example, this paper studies the influence of 12-week folk sports games on the physical form, physical function and physical quality of primary school students, and discusses the promoting effect of sports games on the physical health of primary school students. In order to better develop folk sports games, enrich the content of primary school physical education, improve the participation of students in sports, promote the healthy growth of students to provide reference and suggestions.Research method:Ninety healthy fifth grade students were divided into experimental group(45 people)and control group(45 people). The experimental group took folk sports games as the main content, while the control group took routine physical education teaching. The experiment lasted for 12 weeks, with 36 periods of 40 minutes each time,3 times a week. Before and after the experiment, the body shape, body function and body quality related indexes were detected SPSS23.0 statistical software was used to perform t-test of relevant indicators before and after each experiment,as well as between the two groups, and P>0.05 was considered as a significant difference.Research results:(1)At the end of the 12-week experiment, the height of male and female students in the experimental group was significantly different from that before the experiment, but there was no significant difference in weight. The vital capacity of male and female students was significantly different from that before the experiment. There were significant differences in 50 meters speed running and one-minute rope skipping for boys and sitting body forward bending and one-minute rope skipping for girls. There were significant differences in 50 m speed running for girls and forward bending for boys before and after the experiment. There was no significant difference between male and female students before and after 50×8 turn-around and one-minute sit-up experiment.(2)At the end of the 12-week experiment, the height of male and female students in the control group was significantly different from that before the experiment; There was no significant difference in body weight. There was no significant difference in vital capacity between male and female. There is a significant difference in one-minute rope skipping between girls and before the experiment, and there is a significant difference in sitting body forward flexion between boys and before the experiment. There was no significant difference between male and female in 50 meters speed running,50×8 turn-around running,one-minute sit-ups,female sitting forward bending and male one-minute rope skipping.(3)After 12 weeks of exercise intervention experiment, the speed quality(50 meters speed running),flexibility quality(sitting body forward bending)and agility quality(one-minute rope skipping)of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group; There were no significant differences in height, weight and vital capacity between the two groups. There were also no significant differences in endurance quality(50 × 8 turn-around)or strength quality(one-minute sit-ups).Research conclusions:Through this experimental study,we finally reached the following conclusions:(1)Compared with traditional sports teaching, folk sports games can significantly improve students’ speed quality, flexibility quality and agility quality.(2)Strength quality and endurance quality of folk traditional games are also improved, but not significantly.(3)The teaching of folk sports games can greatly improve students’participation and physical quality. The teaching of folk sports games can be used as a kind of practice mode in school physical education, which can enrich the means and content of physical education.
