| This study focuses on single-parent college students who are affected by their parents’unhappy marriage life in the past.Some students find it difficult to let go and face up to their unhappy experiences in the past.They lack sense of purpose and motivation of self-actualization,and are overly anxious about self-uncertainty.Compared with ordinary college students,single-parent students face greater psychological pressure and development problems,such as personality paranoia,lack of confidence,lack of emotional cognition,etc.Under the obstacles of various factors,they are easy to produce low self-identification and stay in a vicious circle of low identification for a long time.At present,the intervention work of single-parent college students mainly focuses on dealing with sadness,enhancing ability and strengthening family care.Social workers neglect to improve self-identification from the perspective of coexistence and acceptance.This study uses social work case intervention to promote single-parent college student(P)’s low self-identification in S University.The research question is how the acceptance and commitment therapy improves the self-identification status of single-parent college student,and explore the ACT’s applicability and resistance in the application of intervening single-parent college students to improve self-identification,and how to eliminate these impediments.This research is carried out with the basic idea of action research.Through in-depth interviews with several single-parent college students in the college,P is identified as the object of intervention.Through interviews with roommates and measurement of self-identification scale(SIS),further data is collected.Social worker has effectively improved the self-identification status of the client through seven interventions and analyzes the applicability and resistance of the acceptance and commitment therapy to promote self-identification of single-parent college student in combination with client self-evaluation and case intervention effect.This study finds that acceptance and commitment therapy has effectively improved client(P)’ sense of self-identification.Metaphor has good applicability,such as development,evaluation,integration,etc.But it also has the risk of falling into language discussion and improper selection of stories.Only in this way can metaphor play its maximum role,social worker should flexibly choose reasonable stories and grasp the rhythm of stories.Mindfulness practice promotes the client to pay attention to the present moment and regain confidence.But there are also cases of too fast progress and strengthening avoidance.social workers should always pay constant attention to the client’s opinion and state.In addition,based on actual experience,this study combs out the operation mode of the acceptance and commitment therapy’s intervention in promoting self-identity of single-parent college students.Researcher reflects on the influence of the quality of the implementer on the effect and emphasizes that social workers should practice more in advance and adjust the intervention methods flexibly and timely according to the actual situation,so as to ensure the client to speak freely and wholeheartedly.Finally,this study summarizes the resistance affecting the ACT’s intervention effect and proposes elimination methods based on social work practice,including clarifying cognition,strengthening client’s confidence,popular expression and flexible counseling,providing reference value for subsequent research. |
