History Curriculum Standard for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 edition,revised in 2020)incorporates historical materialism,spatio-temporal concept,historical evidence,historical interpretation,and national feelings into the five core qualities of history discipline.The “Outline of Chinese and Foreign History” is a new textbook compiled under the guidance of these five core qualities,which has been applied in various provinces and cities.One of the highlights of this edition is that the structure and content of the auxiliary column are more specialized and novel.Then,if we want to study the column of “Historical Data Reading” newly set up in Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(PART1),we should take teaching materials as the basis,combined with the cultivation and improvemment of historical evidence literacy,the content,distribution and presentation form,characteristics,functions and application of this column are discussed in detail.Compared with yuelu edition,People’s Education Edition and People’s Edition,the column of “Historical Data Reading” in Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(PART1)is more professional and standard in terms of content,quantity and distribution.Compared with other anxiliary columns in function and application,the position is more unique.By analyzing the purpose of the editor to set up the column of “historical data reading”,it is concluded that the column has the function of supplementing the content of the main text,breaking through the difficult points in teaching and cultivating students’ historical data demonstration accomplishment.However,through the analysis of questionnaire and interview results,the result shows that due to the limited teaching time and various teaching contents in current history teaching,the proper function of “historical data reading” column has not been fully played.Based on this,will grasp the use of “historical data reading” prerequisite;Broaden students’ horizons,inspire students to think;Create problem situation and read historical materials with problem orientation;Carry out historical debate competition to train students’ ability of inquiry;We should give full play to the guiding role of historical data value,and combined with the main content of textbooks,the teaching design of “historical data reading”column is carried out and the teaching strategies mentioned above are applied to practice teaching.Therefore,apply the above strategies in the classroom can effectively create a good learning atmosphere for students and exercise their thinking ability,especially in the cultivation and improvement of students’ historical evidence literacy has achieved preliminary results.
