In recent years,the sleep situation of senior high school students is not optimistic.Senior high school students’ lack of sleep is mainly reflected in two aspects: First,the proportion of students who sleep less than 8 hours a day is increasing year by year;The second is that the daily sleep time during school is decreasing with the increase of grade.Senior high school students are in a period of contradiction and turbulence in their physical and mental development.At the same time,they are also facing the problems of high pressure in college entrance examination and interpersonal communication.When faced with academic difficulties,they are prone to academic frustration.If this negative emotional experience cannot be resolved in time,it will further worsen students’ physical and mental health through rumination.Being unable to sleep at night and learning inefficiently the next day has become a problem that senior high school students need to face up to.Therefore,it is of great significance to pay attention to the important influencing factors of senior high school students’ sleep quality to improve their physical and mental health.In this context,based on the connection network theory and response style theory,this paper explores the reasons for the decline of senior high school students’ sleep quality,compiles the academic frustration scale for high school students,and discusses the influence of senior high school students’ academic frustration on sleep quality and the role of rumination in it,hoping to provide important reference value for the improvement of teenagers’ sleep quality.Study 1 compiled the academic frustration scale for senior high school students.Through the reliability and validity test,this paper evaluates the current situation of academic frustration of senior high school students and provides a reliable evaluation tool for predicting the physical and mental health of individuals.In Study 2,a total of 1053 effective subjects were investigated by using the qualified academic frustration scale for senior high school students and other research tools to investigate the influence of academic frustration on sleep quality of senior high school students,and to further explore the relationship between rumination and the influence of academic frustration on sleep quality,as well as the differences of various research variables in different demographic variables.(1)The Self-made Academic Frustration Scale for Senior High School Students has 29 items,including five dimensions: frustration of learning adaptation,frustration of learning confidence,frustration of learning motivation,frustration of learning pressure and frustration of learning environment.The factor load of each item is greater than 0.50,indicating that the factor load is in good condition.The reliability analysis shows that the α coefficient of the total table and the five dimensions is between 0.58 and 0.94,which indicates that the academic frustration questionnaire of senior high school students is highly consistent.The validity analysis shows that the correlation between each dimension of the academic frustration scale for senior high school students and the total score of the scale is between 0.74 and 0.95,and the correlation between each dimension is between 0.46 and 0.84.The academic frustration scale for senior high school students has a good degree of dimension discrimination.In addition,GFI=0.87,AGFI=0.85,NFI=0.86,TLI=0.89,CFI=0.90,IFI=0.90,RMSEA=0.06,the model fitting index is ideal and the scale is well adapted.The newly-developed academic frustration scale for senior high school students is highly applicable,which can be used to evaluate the academic frustration of senior high school students in China and predict their physical and mental health.(2)There are significant pairwise correlations among academic frustration,rumination and sleep quality.(3)Academic frustration can significantly negatively predict sleep quality,and the mediating effect of rumination is significant.The results of this study show that academic frustration can significantly predict sleep quality,and rumination plays an intermediary role in the influence of academic frustration on sleep quality of senior high school students.
