Objective To explore the relationship and the interaction mechanism between frustration emotion, emotional reliance and sleep quality in college students. Methods with the convenient sampling,1013college students in five universities of Fujian province were questioned with the Frustration Emotion Questionnaire of college students, Emotional Resiliency Scale for Adolescents (ERSA), and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Results (1) Frustration Emotion Questionnaire for College Students (FEQ-CS) has good qualities of psychometics in inner consistency reliability, split-half reliability, content validity, construction validity, criterin validity and empirical validity.(2)Significant differences exist between Genders, Subjects and Environment, among different Academics in total of FEQ-CS.(3)Significant differences exist between Genders in total of ERSA.(4)17.6%students have sleep problem.There are significant differences between Genders, Environment and the variables of Only Child, among different Grades, Academics in college students.(5) Frustration emotion is significantly positive correlated with Sleep Quality Index, and significantly negative correlated with Emotional Resiliency.(6) Emotional Resiliency is significantly negative correlated with Sleep Quality Index. Conclusion (1)The level of Frustration emotion of girls is higher than boys’; the level of Frustration emotion of student majored in arts is higher than student majored in science’; the level of Frustration emotion of student who comes from cities and towns is higher than student who comes from countries’; the level of Frustration emotion of student who comes from Normal university is higher than student who comes from Comprehensive university’and Medical university’.(2) The level of of emotional reliance of boys is higher than girls’.(3)The sleep problems of college stuents cannot be ignored, which mainly embodies in daytime dysfuncition, subjective sleep quality and the time to fall asleep. The level of of sleep quality of girls is lower than boys’and the level of of sleep quality of stuent who comes from countries is lower than student who comes from cities and towns’.(4) Frustration emotion, emotional reliance and sleep quality are significantly pairwise correlation.(5) Frustration emotion has directly effects on sleep quality, and it can also indirectly has effects on sleep quality through emotional reliance. Emotional reliance has played the roles of intervening variable and moderator variable.(6) Frustration emotion has directly effects on emotional reliance.(7) Sleep quality has directly effects on frustration emotion.
