At present, although my country’s early childhood education and parents have realized that parent-child sports activities are beneficial to children’s growth, they do not pay enough attention to and understand them.Children are less involved in special parent-child sports activities, and most parents have misunderstandings about parent-child sports activities..The frequency of parent-child sports activities in kindergartens is low,and there is a lack of professional guidance. The impact and effect of parent-child sports activities on children’s growth cannot be shown at all,and cannot be effectively publicized and promoted. In this study, the relationship between parent-child physical activity on the development of children’s personality and social adaptability was studied by means of literature, questionnaires, experiments, and mathematical statistics.Selected 40 boys from the senior class of Xiaoxiang Kindergarten in Yaodu District,Linfen City as the experimental subjects, and divided the experimental subjects into the experimental group and the control group for an eight-week comparative experiment. The children in the experimental group were carried out twice a week according to the parent-child sports activities designed by the author. The parent-child sports activities of the control group were carried out according to the sports activities without parent participation. The Personality Development Tendency Rating Scale(PTSC)Questionnaire compiled by Zheng Yi and the Strengths and Difficulties(SDQ)Questionnaire(Parent Version)revised by Du Yasong were selected to collect the personality development trend and social adaptation data of the subjects before and after the experiment..After statistical analysis of the data, the following conclusions are drawn:In the comparison of the influence of the children’s personality development trend between the experimental group and the control group, the children in the experimental group were better than the control group in terms of exploration initiative, group adaptability, emotional selfcontrol and independence.Significantly more active than the control group children. In the comparison of the influence of the social adaptability of the children in the experimental group and the control group, the children in the experimental group had significantly less emotional and hyperactivity problems than those in the control group, and the children in the experimental group had significantly more prosocial behavior than the control group; The problems in conduct and peer interaction are significantly less than those in the control group;the behavioral habits of the children in the experimental group have changed significantly, and they are more suitable for the requirements of social development.Increased willingness to participate in sports.Suggestion: To improve the social recognition of parent-child sports activities, kindergartens should incorporate parent-child sports activities into regular teaching;the time, frequency, content and form of parent-child sports activities should conform to the laws of children’s physical growth.Parent-child sports activities should pay attention to the guidance of children’s personality development and social adaptability;education activities should be mainly in the form of group activities, which can effectively cultivate children’s gregarious adaptability and mutual help, unity and cooperation awareness;activity content There must be a certain degree of openness, and there should be room for children to actively explore;the activities should infiltrate the awareness of fairness and equality and the politeness of respecting others.
