A Study On The Integration Of Regional Culture Into High School Ideology And Politics Classes

The report of the 20 th Party Congress emphasizes "promoting cultural self-confidence and self-improvement,forging a new glory of socialist culture." The Chinese Communist Party attaches great importance to cultural construction,and since the 18 th Party Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping has visited Shanxi for investigation and research,emphasizing that "we should fully explore and make use of the rich and colorful historical and cultural and red cultural resources,strengthen cultural construction,deeply explore the excellent traditional culture,and enhance cultural confidence." The regional culture of Shanxi has been an important part of Chinese culture since ancient times,with excellent traditional culture,revolutionary culture and advanced socialist culture.For secondary schools in Shanxi Province,integrating Shanxi regional culture into high school ideology and politics classes can enrich teaching materials for ideology and politics classes,enhance the affinity,relevance and effectiveness of high school ideology and politics classes,cultivate students’ cultural self-confidence and cultural identity,and promote students’ all-round development,thus cultivating socialist builders and successors.The General High School Ideology and Politics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition Revised 2020)clearly requires high school ideology and politics classes to actively carry out social practice activities,and to draw useful cultural resources from the development and utilization of regional culture to enrich curriculum resources and link teaching to life.The current research on the integration of Shanxi’s regional culture into high school ideology and politics classes has achieved some results,with the first results of the activities of Shanxi’s regional culture on campus,the gradual increase of teachers’ awareness of the application of resources,and the increase of students’ recognition of Shanxi’s regional culture.At the same time,there are problems such as the weak awareness of students’ subjects,the limited ability of teachers and the lack of external support for resource development.Based on this,strategies for integrating Shanxi regional culture into high school ideology and politics classes are explored: taking students as the main body,stimulating their sense of ownership and making them participate actively;taking teachers as the leader,using scientific education and teaching strategies,promoting the integration of resources to improve the relevance of high school ideology and politics classes,improving teaching design to highlight the affinity of high school ideology and politics classes,and building practical activities to enhance the effectiveness of high school ideology and politics classes in three areas.Specific research;collaborate with schools and government to create a strong cultural atmosphere.
