| Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(Experimental Draft)for the first time includes "Practice and Comprehensive Application" as one of the four major learning areas for elementary mathematics. Then,in the 2011 version of the Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education,"Practice and Comprehensive Application"was renamed "Comprehensive and Practice",and its specific content and teaching requirements were clarified. The 2022 version of the Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education further points out that "Comprehensive and Practice" can be appropriately taught through project-based learning, designing realistic and complex problems to guide students in applying their knowledge to solve problems. It can be seen that using project-based learning for "Comprehensive and Practice" teaching is a key and fundamental task in implementing the new curriculum standards. However, current research lacks effective methods for integrating project-based learning into the field of "Comprehensive and Practice"in elementary school mathematics. Therefore, based on the new curriculum standards, this thesis applies project-based learning to the design of "Comprehensive and Practice" teaching in elementary school mathematics, constructs an effective framework and path for related teaching practices,in order to enrich relevant theoretical and practical research. This thesis is underlined by constructivism, discovery learning, and situational cognition, and specifically uses research methods such as interviews, classroom observation, and case studies. From the four dimensions of project initiation, project evaluation, project implementation, and project summary,a main framework for the design of primary school mathematics "Comprehensive and Practical" project learning and teaching is constructed. Then the research independently designed and developed the project learning of Campus AntiCOVID 19 Planner based on the content of "Comprehensive and Practice" related textbooks and the background of the COVID-19 era in 2021,and carried out the teaching practice activities of project learning in the second stage of W Primary School in Yangzhou City according to the implementation plan of the constructed project entry activities, inquiry activities and output activities.Further practice has shown that the implementation of the Campus Anti-COVID 19 Planner project learning has basically achieved the curriculum knowledge goals, effectively developed students’ abstract ability, innovation awareness, and application awareness of mathematical core literacy, and significantly improved their comprehensive abilities. Finally, based on the effectiveness of project-based learning, the following teaching suggestions were proposed:developing resources for primary school mathematics project-based learning based on real learning, utilizing reverse teaching design to plan project learning, and providing scaffolding to optimize project learning. As an initial exploration of the application of project-based learning in the field of "Comprehensive and Practice" in primary school mathematics, the research has expanded the case library of"Comprehensive and Practice" project-based learning in primary school mathematics, providing a reference for more effective promotion of the integration of project-based learning and teaching in the field of "Comprehensive and Practice" in primary school mathematics. |
