The core quality based on students’ all-round development defines the correct values,essential qualities and key abilities that students should have after learning the corresponding courses,which are applicable to the needs of students’ lifelong development and social development.How to cultivate the core quality of students is not only the key link of the new round of curriculum reform,but also the challenge facing the current education reform."Geography Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools"(2017 edition,2020 revision)proposes to cultivate students’ core literacy in geography,and this process needs to rely on geography classroom teaching and with the help of certain knowledge carriers.The knowledge of "geographical connection" is the core content of the knowledge system of geography subject,and it focuses on answering the question of "what role does it play".It includes the understanding of geographical characteristics,geographical laws and other linkage mechanisms,has great universality and universality,and has the content and function of cultivating the core quality of geography.At present,there are relatively few researches combining the cultivation of "geographical connection" teaching in high school with the cultivation of geographical core literacy.Based on this,this paper adopts the methods of literature research,content analysis and classroom observation to combine the cultivation of geographical core literacy with the teaching of "geographical connection" in high school,and carries out the research of geographical core literacy based on the teaching of "geographical connection" in high school.Based on the research status,significance,ideas and methods at home and abroad,this paper defines relevant concepts,The correlation between the knowledge of "geographical connection" and the core literacy of geography is analyzed,and the theoretical basis of the research is established.By classifying the knowledge of "geographical connection" in the compulsory textbook of high school geography textbook of Hunan Education Edition(2019 edition),through classroom observation and expert consultation,it is found that the existing problems in the cultivation of core geographical literacy based on the teaching of "geographical connection" in high school are as follows: the cultivation of regional awareness is weak,and the cognitive area is not in place;The situation creation is simple and the level of transfer and application is low.The students’ participation is not enough and the application effect of the stent is poor.The understanding of human coordination is not thorough,the idea renewal needs attention.In view of the problems summarized by classroom observation,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures for the cultivation of geography core literacy of senior high school students: strengthen the professional foundation of teachers,update the teaching idea in time;Strengthen students’ participation experience and be able to observe and research regional events;Carefully designed teaching support,pay attention to the implementation of stratified teaching;Transfer and use regional context to guide and drive deep learning,and take "Urban and Rural Spatial Structure",compulsory second course of high school geography in Hunan Education Edition as an example to carry out the teaching design of geography core literacy cultivation based on "geographical connection" teaching in high school.Finally,the paper points out the deficiencies and prospects.It is hoped that the research of this paper can provide reference for the majority of high school geography teachers in the teaching of "geographical connection" and the cultivation of the core quality of geography.
