Research On WeChat Group Management Issues In Primary School Classe

With the rapid development of internet technology,information platforms such as We Chat have been widely used in the field of education.Class We Chat group,as a new type of family-school communication,is very convenient,but in practice many problems especially on management come out.Since academic research in this area is inadequate and it is still in the exploratory stage,so many front-line managers do not receive really valuable suggestions,which is very difficult to meet their management need in practical work.In this study,403 teachers and 413 parents of primary schools in Z city were selected as the subjects of the survey,by distributing the “Survey on the Management of Primary School Class We Chat Groups” teachers’ questionnaire and the “Survey on the Application of Primary School Class We Chat Groups” parents’ questionnaire,combined with interviews,the use and management of primary school class We Chat groups were investigated,Some problems with class We Chat groups management among primary school are as follows: weak awareness of class We Chat group management among some teachers;Low parental involvement in interactions within classroom We Chat groups;its being the tool to pass on the education responsibility to others;class We Chat groups present personal information leakage risks and other problems,and the reasons for these problems are analysed in depth,mainly due to the misunderstanding of class We Chat group management;unequal status of both sides;unclear boundary of family and school responsibilities;and Lack of online safety awareness among teachers and parents.Finally,corresponding countermeasures are proposed for the above problems: firstly,correcting the cognition of class We Chat group management;secondly,promote the democratization of class We Chat group management;thirdly,clarify the boundary of responsibility for home-school education,and fourthly,enhance the protection of personal information in class We Chat groups,etc.These measures are taken to improve the problems of class We Chat group management in primary schools and promote the communication between home and school.
