Background:In the context of "Healthy China 2030" strategy, the slow development of students’ sports skills has attracted wide attention.Fundamental motor skills are the basis of specific motor skills and affect students’ future participation in physical activities. The Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)put special emphasis on fundamental motor skills as the development focus of Level 1 students. It is a basic requirement of the state to cultivate students’ fundamental motor skills and one of the important goals of the school’s physical education work to take sports skills training as the guide and to achieve the improvement of Level 1 students’ fundamental motor skills through certain intensity sports activities.Perceived motor competence is the cognition and confidence of one’s own motor ability level, which is an important factor affecting the development of students’ fundamental motor skills. However, the diversified structure and rich content of combined sports are helpful to promote the all-round development of students’ body and mind.Currently, more studies are needed to explore the potential impact of different combination sports on perceptive motor competence and fundamental motor skills.Research purpose:Using different combinations of sports as intervention methods, this study explored the impact of 12 week exercise intervention on Level 1 students’ perceived motor competence and fundamental motor skills, and further explored the relationship between perceived motor competence as an intermediary variable that sports intervention affects fundamental motor skills, including small basketball and martial arts combination sports improve the Level of fun track and field and martial arts combination sports.Provide experimental basis and intervention plan for students’ perceived motor competence and fundamental motor skills. Methods:Convenient sampling method was used to select 147 students from three secondgrade classes in a primary school in Yangzhou City,Jiangsu Province. All selected students are between the ages of 7 and 8 and have gone through screening procedures. And divided into a small basketball and martial arts combination group of 48 students;Interesting track and field and martial arts combined sports group of 49 people;49 subjects in the control group(routine physical education). The duration of exercise intervention was 12 weeks, three times a week, with medium and high intensity exercise lasting a cumulative of 30 minutes each time. Before and after the experimental intervention, the perceived motor competence was measured by PMSC,and the fundamental motor skills were measured by TGMD-3.Analyze and compare the differences of perceived motor competence and fundamental motor skills of different groups before and after intervention.Results:(1)After 12 weeks of exercise intervention with different combinations of items, the time main effect on the perceived displacement skill ability of level 1 students was significant(P<0.05),and the time main effect, group main effect and the interaction effect of time and group on the total dimensions of the perceived manipulation skill ability and the perceived movement ability were significant(P<0.05).Only time main effect was statistically significant on manipulation skills of Level 1 students(P<0.05).On the total dimensions of displacement skills and fundamental motor skills, time main effect, group main effect and interaction effect between time and group were significant(P<0.05).(2)The combination of small basketball and martial arts has the most significant effect on Level 1 students’ perceived manipulation ability and the total dimension level of perceived motor competence, which is superior to that in the control group(P<0.05);The combination of interesting track and field and martial arts had the most significant impact on the displacement skills and fundamental motor skills of Level 1 students, and it was better than the combination of small basketball and martial arts group and the control group(P<0.05).(3)Perceived motor competence plays a complete intermediary role in the combination of small basketball and martial arts intervention on the fundamental motor skills of Level 1 students, the intermediary effect is 0.722;The perceived motor competence played a partial intermediary role in the influence of the combination of interesting track and field and martial arts intervention on the fundamental motor skills of Level 1 students, and the intermediary effect was 0.524.Conclusions:(1)The combination of small basketball and martial arts, and the intervention of interesting track and field and martial arts can improve the students’ perceived motor competence.(2)The combined sports of small basketball and martial arts,as well as the combined sports of fun track and martial arts, can improve the level of students’ fundamental motor skills. In terms of the overall dimensions of displacement skills and fundamental motor skills, the intervention effect of the combined sports of fun track and martial arts is significantly better than the combined sports of small basketball and martial arts;In terms of manipulation skills, there was no significant effect between all groups.(3)The combined sports intervention of fun track and field and martial arts can not only directly affect the fundamental motor skills of Level 1 students, but also indirectly affect Level 1 students’fundamental motor skills through influencing their perceived motor competence;Small basketball and martial arts combined sports intervention mainly affect level 1 students’fundamental motor skills through the perceived motor competence.
