| As one of the key abilities in college entrance examination,mathematical operation ability has attracted more and more attention in recent years.However,in the actual teaching process,it is found that students’ mathematical operation ability is not high.By reading relevant literature,combining with personal internship experience and consulting front-line teachers,the author finally selected some students in the senior grade of a high school in Rizhao,Shandong Province as the research object.The test content of the operation subject related to exponential function and logarithmic function was combined with the questionnaire and teacher interview to investigate the mathematical operation ability of students.Then SPSS and Excel software are used to analyze the survey results,determine the current situation of the mathematical operation ability of students in senior one,analyze the reasons affecting the mathematical operation ability of students,and put forward the relevant strategies to train students’ mathematical operation ability.There are some problems in the mathematical operation ability of senior One students,which are mainly reflected in the following aspects:(1)The overall mathematical operation ability is not high,nearly half of the students are below the average level,and too few students are above 63 points(full score:70).(2)The ability to directly use basic knowledge such as concepts,formulas and rules to carry out simple operations is strong,but the understanding of some concepts is still insufficient.(3)The ability to mine the topic information and simplify the calculation needs to be improved.When facing the problem conditions,the students can not well connect with the knowledge and the conclusion to solve the problem.(4)The ability of flexible use of various thought methods and optimization operations is low,the use of mathematical thought methods such as classification and discussion,combination of number and form,connection and transformation is not skilled,and the best method can not be chosen to solve problems.The reasons for the current situation of mathematical operation ability are as follows:(1)Students have insufficient understanding of basic knowledge such as concepts,formulas and theorems,and cannot flexibly apply the knowledge they have learned.(2)Do not develop good computing habits,such as:do not pay attention to the writing of the steps to solve the problem,no draft book,do not check the problem.(3)Students’ own psychological quality is not pass,do not have enough willpower.(4)Teachers’ teaching habits affect the development of students’ mathematical operation ability.Based on the above research status and reason analysis,this paper puts forward the following strategies to cultivate the mathematical operation ability of high school students:(1)Improve the mathematical cognitive structure of students,including:strengthen the basic knowledge learning,strengthen the basic skills training,pay attention to the infiltration of mathematical thoughts and methods.(2)Attach importance to the training of students’mathematical thinking.(3)Cultivate students’ good arithmetic habits,such as careful and patient examination,standardized problem-solving process,reasonable use of draft books,pay attention to check after arithmetic,pay attention to learn to estimate.(4)Correctly guide students’ individual psychological development,including enhance students’ interest in mathematical operation,cultivate students’ strong will quality and psychological quality.(5)Correct use of computer,strengthen operation training.(6)Attach importance to the exemplary and guiding role of teachers. |
