In the report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,it was once again mentioned that the arduous task of comprehensively promoting rural construction and realizing the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country still falls on the rural areas,and these areas have the broadest and deepest foundation,and are also important places to give play to their greatest potential and development momentum.Strengthening the cultural construction of rural communities,mobilizing residents to participate,and creating a good civilized rural style is an important measure for the cultural construction of rural communities and one of the key factors for realizing rural revitalization.With the introduction of "hollowing",the development of rural community culture has become the key to the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,which can not only enhance rural cohesion and meet the cultural needs of farmers,but also promote the improvement of ideology and morality,promote the civilization and progress of society,and make positive contributions to the construction of new countryside.In rural communities,the development of rural community culture requires the joint efforts of governments at all levels,villager representatives,social groups,professionals and volunteers,as well as the intervention of social work.This study selects Y Town,Dunhuang City,Gansu Province as the research object,and uses the social planning model theory and empowerment theory of social work to study the feasibility of social workers participating in the cultural construction of rural communities,and how to use local resources to stimulate the subjectivity of villagers,promote the development of village communities,and revitalize rural communities.
