Study On Social Work Intervention In The Rural Elderly Community Participation Ability

With the acceleration of the aging process,an increasing number of elderly people have become the objects of concern and research from all walks of life.How to achieve active aging and alleviate the pressure of aging has also become an important topic for scholars.With the continuous development of grassroots social governance and the deepening of rural community construction,residents' community participation has received widespread attention.Due to geography,economy,history,and other reasons,the problem of rural community participation is even more severe.As the most basic organization of state and social management,the importance of its construction and development to the entire society has become increasingly prominent.In promoting the overall community construction process,community participation plays a crucial role.As a link between the national government and the grass-roots community,social work can promote the development of elderly community participation through the professional theories and methods,help the elderly realize their own values,enhance the community's common sense of responsibility,and help the country's grassroots social governance and community building.This paper first sorts out domestic and foreign literature,and research literature finds that the existing issues of community participation focus on issues such as low participation enthusiasm,low level of participation,and a single participation channel.These problems have been achieved through the unremitting efforts of domestic and foreign scholars and grassroots staff.Improved.However,for the exploration of deeper issues,such as how to build capacity for community residents,there are few related studies,so from this perspective put forward the topic of this study.Then,through a questionnaire survey of 44 rural senior citizens of S Community in Chongqing,interviews with two resident representatives and a social worker,it was found that community social work intervention in community service works well,residents have a strong sense of community participation,and participation satisfaction.Higher,but the elderly do not have a clear understanding of the ability to participate in the community.They think that their own ability development is already good and there is no need to build capacity.Finally,on this basis,this article summarizes the good results that social work has involved in the community and analyzes the reasons.It concludes that community social work has the advantages of collective orientation,mutual assistance orientation,and participation orientation;and then explores the involvement of social work in the rural elderly.The human community participates in the existing problems in capacity building and proposes countermeasures and suggestions.It is believed that social workers are involved in the participation capacity of the rural elderly community.There is also the problem of lack of awareness of the residents' ability,the establishment of a training system,and the immaturity of the professional talents,which need to be resolved.
