| In recent years,school bullying has occurred frequently in the world,which has aroused wide concern from all walks of life.Research has found that school bullying brings more profound and long-term harm to the bullied,often accompanied by negative emotional experience,and even lead to individual suicidal ideation.As an important social way for teenagers,network interpersonal communication not only brings convenience to their academic life,but also has many negative effects.Adolescents are in the critical period of individual psychological development,is the growth of the stormy period,the individual psychological development of this stage is still immature,often impulsive,unable to correctly deal with the negative life events in life.Therefore,this study mainly explores the relationship between online interpersonal communication and campus bullying,and explores whether social self-esteem and loneliness play an intermediary role in the relationship between online interpersonal communication and bullying,so as to enrich domestic and foreign research on online interpersonal communication and bullying,and promote the healthy growth of adolescent students.In this study,1286 high school students in a certain area of Nantong were selected and tested using the Network Interpersonal Communication Questionnaire,Texas Social Behavior Questionnaire,Simple Loneliness Scale(ULS-8)and Adolescent Peer Relationship-Bully and Bullied Scale.SPSS23.0 and process macro plug-in were used to analyze the data.The following results are obtained:(1)High school students experienced bullying at a very high rate,more than half of all subjects(65.6%).Among them,boys and older students suffer higher rates of bullying.High school students from poorer families are also more likely to experience traditional bullying.(2)Bullying of high school students is positively correlated with the level of Internet interpersonal dependence and loneliness,and negatively correlated with the level of social self-esteem.(3)Internet interpersonal dependence can increase the likelihood of high school students being bullied by increasing loneliness,that is,loneliness has a significant mediating Effect between Internet interpersonal communication and bullying(Effect=0.167,95%CI[0.109,0.231]).(4)Internet interpersonal dependence also increases the likelihood of high school students being bullied by weakening the level of social self-esteem and then increasing the level of loneliness,and there is a significant chain mediating Effect between social self-esteem and loneliness on Internet interpersonal communication and bullying(Effect=0.088,95%CI[0.054,0.128]).(5)Internet interpersonal communication,social self-esteem and loneliness have similar predictive effects on different bullying behaviors.Therefore,It can be seen from the above that school bullying incidents are universal,especially in the senior three group,and boys and students with poor family economic status are more likely to be involved in bullying incidents.Secondly,high school students also have a higher degree of dependence on Internet interpersonal communication,and those with high dependence are more likely to become bullies.In addition,online interpersonal communication can influence bullying not only through loneliness,but also through social self-esteem,which in turn affects loneliness and ultimately bullying.Therefore,in the prevention and treatment of campus bullying incidents,we should not only guide students to use network interpersonal communication reasonably,but also pay attention to regulating students’ social self-esteem and loneliness level. |
