| Logical reasoning is an indispensable and important ability for the development of the times and students,and the "General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" clearly lists logical reasoning as one of the core literacies of the six mathematics disciplines.Mathematical logical reasoning is a hot topic in the research of international education.However,there is still room for further research on the mathematical logical reasoning ability of high school students at the present stage,especially for the students in the special grade of senior one.To investigate the current situation is conducive to the targeted development of this ability in the subsequent senior two and senior three.Therefore,this study mainly focuses on "What is the current situation of mathematical logical reasoning ability of senior one students?" "What are the factors affecting the difference in mathematical logical reasoning ability of senior one students?" "How to improve students’ mathematical logic reasoning ability?" to conduct research.Based on the reading and analysis of relevant literature,this study took 194 students in four classes in two classes of ordinary high schools in Suzhou and Huai’an as the research objects,and used test questionnaire survey and questionnaire survey research methods to understand the current situation of mathematical logical reasoning ability of senior one students,analyze the factors affecting mathematical logical reasoning of senior one students and measures to improve their mathematical logical reasoning ability of senior high school students.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The mathematical logical reasoning ability of senior one students is in the middle and low level,and there is a gap between the mathematical logical reasoning ability of different senior one students,the number of students with overall grades in the middle section accounts for the largest proportion,most of the mathematical logical reasoning level is concentrated in level zero and level one,different students are unbalanced in the performance of the topic,there are significant differences in mathematical logical reasoning ability between the high,middle and low level groups,gender did not affect the level of mathematical logical reasoning ability;(2)Students have the following problems in the process of logical reasoning:lack of enthusiasm and initiative in conjecture,limited ability to guess,lack of sorting out the attributes between inductive objects on the basis of the analysis of individual characteristics of inductive objects,lack of further verification of conclusions after conjecture,conclusions are too general or too specific;Formalization of analogy conclusions,lack of awareness of ascending analogy,lack of computational transfer ability,bias in the cognition of internal association of analogy objects;Lack of enthusiasm and willpower for mathematical operations,lack of mathematical abstract thinking;(3)The factors of students’ interest,learning attitude and learning style are the factors affecting the mathematical logical reasoning ability of high school students,and the influence of teachers’ teaching factors on students’ logical reasoning ability is not obvious;(4)Strategies to improve students’ mathematical logical reasoning ability:learning is fun,combining learning with logical thinking and intellectual games;Pay attention to the correlation between knowledge and improve the awareness of logical reasoning;Focus on cultivating computing ability in the process of logical reasoning;Teach logical reasoning knowledge and methods,strengthen logical reasoning ability targeted training;Guide students to learn and think independently,and activate logical reasoning thinking. |
