As one of the important events in an individual’s life history, college graduates start to move from campus to the social workplace.Facing the changes and differences in the field, college students often face many adaptation problems in the early stage of employment.Although colleges and universities attach great importance to the employment of college students, only the relevant vocational courses offered do not fully meet the needs of college students, while the pre-employment training of enterprises is also perfunctory, and it is difficult to use professional methods to solve problems. Therefore,it is of profound significance for college graduates to pass the adaptation period smoothly for themselves, enterprises and society. This paper tries to conduct a practical study on college graduates’ adjustment to work from the perspective of social role theory.Firstly,we collect and understand the current situation and problems of new college graduates in the early stage of their orientation through interviewing them in T enterprises.Secondly,we evaluate the process and effects of the intervention, and conclode and rethink the chosen theories and methods. Finally,it is hoped that this paper, based on testing the understanding and application functions of social role theory, will provide experience for corporate social work to better solve the problem of college students’ adjustment to work.
