Physical homework is an effective extension of physical education classroom teaching and a very important link in physical education teaching.Physical homework is the secondary learning of students’ technical actions in physical education classroom,and is an effective means to consolidate actions,form skills,cultivate healthy habits,and form good quality.On April 19,2021,the Notice on Further Strengthening the Physical Health Management of Primary and Secondary School Students issued by the Ministry of Education clarified the sports homework system,and "sports homework" became a research hotspot.However,sports homework is still in the stage of groping whether it is based on the theory or the design and implementation.In order to respond to the national policy and improve students’ active participation in family exercise,this study investigated the situation of sports homework in senior primary schools through the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview and logical analysis.First,master the concept and connotation of homework and sports homework,relevant national laws and regulations and domestic and foreign research through the method of documentary materials.Second,conduct a basic survey on the design of sports homework arrangement for primary school PE teachers in Zhengzhou through questionnaires and interviews,and deeply understand the teachers’ selection of the design content of sports homework and the evaluation and feedback methods of the arrangement.Thirdly,the logical analysis method is used to study the design of sports homework for senior primary school students,so that PE teachers can understand "why" they should design sports homework,and students know "what","how much","what" and "how to practice" sports homework,and draw the following conclusions:(1)The national policy strongly supports sports homework,which reflects its value,the formation of students habits,the cultivation of their interests and the promotion of family-school interaction.The current situation of PE homework in primary schools in Zhengzhou highlights that teachers can not be flexible in designing homework.In selecting the content,the emphasis is on physical fitness and only on students incomplete physical development.(2)In terms of homework design,sports homework has its particularity.The content of homework should control the amount,time,and content of students’ exercises in accordance with design principles,design basis,and lively and diverse homework content to enable students to achieve sports practice goals and complete sports homework more efficiently.(3)in the aspect of homework arrangement,almost all the teachers assignments are based on physical quality,and the contents are old and not updated.They arrange their assignments on mobile phones by optimizing the contents of their assignments and making use of the convenience of the Internet,let the students choose the time,group number and action of the exercises independently through the“Menu”.(4)the assessment of homework is another kind of supplement to the students after they have finished their homework.It should be diversified,involve parents and students,set up the observation system of students performance in class,and set up the evaluation system of group cooperation The summative evaluation comprehensively supervises and urges the student,trains the student cooperation exchange and the practice ability.
