In recent years,the national education department has emphasized reducing the burden of student work,reduce homework time and quantity,but the burden of schoolwork for primary school students is still heavy,mainly due to the problem of homework design,it mainly includes homework time,quantity,sources,types,correction and evaluation methods and so on.The problems in the design of the upper grades of primary school are not only from teachers,but also closely related to the factors of school,parents,textbooks and students.Language is a discipline of instrumentality and humanity,however,subject to the traditional concept of education,language homework is only regarded as a supplement to the classroom,and the practice of simple words and sentences is consolidated.It ignores the important role in the cultivation of students' interest in language and the development of thinking ability.In view of this,during the internship,the author used the questionnaire survey method and the interview survey method to understand the current situation of the design of Chinese homework in the upper grades of primary school.From the results of the survey,the problems include: poor overall planning for homework,lacking in pertinence and hierarchy;the types are mainly written assignments,lack of practicality,inquiry;the teacher's self-designed work experience is weak,lacking in experience and innovation;the homework function is vaguely positioned,lacking openness and development;the problem of homework evaluation and feedback is outstanding,lacking humanity and care.Based on the above questions,the reasons are as follows: the arrangement of homework practice system in teaching materials is unreasonable;teachers have heavy teaching tasks and lack of homework design skills;parents' homework is one-sided and unreasonable for homework guidance;students are not clear about their own positioning and their ability to learn independently ispoor.Analysis of the above problems and causes,this study proposes the following optimization strategies: defining the function of homework design;strengthen the management of homework design;enrich the type of homework design;improve the ability to design homework;pay attention to the evaluation of homework design.In addition,the author contacted the experience of educational internships and educational theory,combine theory with practice,taking the fifth grade text of the primary school language," Civil and military officials are United" as an example,presenting examples of homework design.The problems in the design of Chinese homework for upper primary school students need to be solved urgently,this research explores the problems existing in the design of the operation through investigation,and proposes a targeted solution strategy,it is expected to provide first-line language teachers with advice and suggestions.
