Children’s nursery rhyme is an oral short song that has long been passed down in the mouth of children,without melody but with rhythm.It is also one of the traditional folk cultures.It has a simple form,is easy to sing,conforms to the age characteristics of young children,and is rich in content,with various educational values.Especially the Beijing nursery rhymes circulating in the Beijing area are the second batch of intangible cultural heritage in China,which not only contain cultural and educational significance,but also have their own inheritance needs.Therefore,it is necessary to apply Beijing nursery rhymes to kindergarten activities.This study will take the music value of Beijing nursery rhymes as the starting point to explore effective ways for Beijing nursery rhymes to better integrate into kindergarten music activities.This study adopts an action research approach,using a combination of textual analysis,observation and interview methods,with the aim of exploring the rationality of using Beijing nursery rhymes in kindergarten music activities,as well as the objectives,content and effective ways of integrating Beijing nursery rhymes into kindergarten music activities.Through textual analysis,the study found the basic characteristics and deep-seated musical values of Beijing nursery rhymes,and proved the feasibility of integrating Beijing nursery rhymes into kindergarten music activities,based on which a music activity lesson plan was developed and three rounds of action research were conducted.The action research consisted of three main parts,the first of which was the preparation of the action research.The first part,the preparatory part of the action research,involved two main tasks: firstly,entering the teaching site,and secondly,forming a preliminary plan for the research.In the second part,the implementation part of the action research,a detailed programme of musical activities was developed and three rounds of action were carried out in a step-by-step manner,using Beijing nursery rhymes as the subject matter.The third part,the summary part of the action research.The first part is a summary of the external and internal changes in the children and teachers before and after the implementation of the action research through observation and interview methods.This is followed by a summary of the practical experiences,including the strategies of practice and the experience of organising and conducting the activities.Finally,the discussion section discusses the feasibility and application methods of integrating Beijing nursery rhymes into kindergarten activities,and offers suggestions for teachers and kindergartens respectively based on the problems that emerged during this study.
