| The twenty tenth report clarified the fundamental status of education,science and technology,and talents,emphasizing the in-depth implementation of the strategy of developing the country through science and education,the strategy of strengthening the country with talents,and the strategy of innovation-driven development,and the need to adhere to science and technology as the first productive force,talent as the first resource,and innovation as the first driving force,and to focus on cultivating top-notch scientific and innovative talents to lead scientific and technological self-improvement with talents.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that we have to open up new areas of development and new tracks in the fierce international competition,form new momentum and new advantages in development,fundamentally speaking,we still have to rely on scientific and technological innovation.In order to achieve the goal of a modern and strong socialist country on schedule,science education must be emphasized.As an important stage in cultivating students’ scientific literacy,the quality of development of primary school science education is a matter of building an innovative country,and the implementation of policies and the transformation of results need to be accelerated.On the basis of combining constructivism theory、quality management theory and related research results of primary school science education,this study conducted a real and micro study on the current situation and existing problems of primary school science education under the background of the new curriculum standard reform.Based on the author’s personal ability,questionnaire survey and interview method are used to investigate and research science teachers and some students in four public primary schools in Dongying City.The scope of the investigation focuses on social support,school management level,teacher team construction,curriculum provision and other aspects.Through the analysis of the current situation of primary school science education,it is concluded that the current predicament of primary school science education is mainly manifested in the following aspects: first,the whole science education chain stakeholders have the problem of misplaced education concept,the low level of social attention,the lack of school and family support,the lack of correct science education and learning concept,the lack of the whole society cooperation.Second,the institutional guarantee is not sound enough,and the lack of rigid policies leads to difficulties in landing.Third,there are a series of problems,such as lack of funds,unsound infrastructure,unscientific teaching materials,and lack of cooperation between schools and off-campus science and technology sites.Fourth,the lack of professional quality of teachers,training mechanism is not sound.In order to further promote the development of science education in primary schools,this study made a comprehensive analysis of the reasons and put forward suggestions from the aspects of improving the degree of social attention,strengthening the reserve support,improving the level of school management and improving the quality of teachers. |
