| Constitution is the highest manifestation of the will of the state and the total source of all our laws and regulations.It is an important task for high school students to carry out constitutional education.At present,high school students receive constitutional education mainly through ideological and political courses.However,there are still some problems in the development of constitutional education in high school ideological and political courses.Ideological and political teachers still have some puzzles about constitutional education,and there is still a distance between the current constitutional literacy of high school students and the level expected by the society.Therefore,this paper investigates and studies how to improve the effectiveness of constitutional education in high school ideological and political courses.This paper clarifies the relationship between constitution education,rule of law education,constitution education and citizen education and other related concepts.Combining with Marxist rule of law theory and the socialist legal system with Constitution as the core,it proposes that the content of constitutional education in high school ideological and political courses includes rights and obligations education,democracy education,rule awareness education and power supervision education.Combining with the theory of ideological and political education acceptance and the theory of life world,this paper puts forward the implementation principles of constitutional education in high school ideological and political courses,including the principle of adhering to the principal position of students,the principle of constitutional education goal orientation and the principle of closely associating with society.By means of questionnaire survey and interview,this paper investigates the current status of constitutional education in ideological and political courses in high school,and finds that it has made many achievements,such as students’ good grasp of basic constitutional knowledge,students’ recognition of the value of the Constitution,students’ preliminary possession of certain constitutional ideas,and teachers paying more attention to constitutional education for students.However,there are still some problems in constitutional education of ideological and political courses in high school,including students’ difficulty in understanding constitutional knowledge,students’ time to learn the Constitution is squeezed,students’ motivation to learn the Constitution is not strong,and teachers’ inability to carry out constitutional education.The thesis believes that the reason why there exist these problems in the constitutional education of ideological and political courses in high school is caused by subjective and objective reasons.Subjective reasons include teachers’ professional quality of constitution is not high,students’ will to learn,learning methods have problems,etc.The objective reasons include the difficulty of the content of constitution education and the lack of motivation due to the exam-oriented education background.In view of the current problems,this paper proposes countermeasures to improve the effect of constitutional education in high school ideological and political courses from four aspects: optimizing the content of constitutional education,rationally applying teaching methods,improving teachers’ ability of constitutional education,and honing students’ will to learn the Constitution,in order to provide reference for the optimization of constitutional education in high school ideological and political courses. |
