| On 1 January 2021,the Civil Code of the People’s Republic of China,voted at the Third Session of the 13 th National People’s Congress,will come into force,ushering in the "era of the Civil Code" in China.With the systematic implementation of the relevant contents of the Civil Code in primary and secondary school textbooks on ethics and the rule of law(ideology and politics)and the publication of the Eighth Five-Year Plan for Promoting Education on the Rule of Law in the National Education System(2021-2025),the importance of education on the Civil Code in the ideology and politics curriculum has become more and more prominent.In the era of the Civil Code,strengthening the teaching of the Civil Code in senior secondary Civics and Political Science classes is of great significance to the implementation of the national strategy of ruling the country by law,promoting the diversified development of rule of law education in senior secondary Civics and Political Science classes,enhancing the core literacy of senior secondary students in the subject of Civics and Political Science,and realising the educational value of the curriculum.What is the current status of civil code education in high school ideology and politics classes? What are the results? And what are the ways to optimise it?The paper uses this as a basis for research.This thesis is based on a combination of documentary research and survey research,firstly,from a theoretical point of view,to sort out the theoretical issues related to civil code education in high school ideology and politics classes,to explore the necessity and significance of optimising civil code education in high school ideology and politics classes,and then to understand the current situation of civil code education in high school ideology and politics classes through field questionnaires and interviews.In the end,the author concluded that the abstract and complicated nature of the current civil code education content and the inadequate civil code education system in high schools have brought a series of problems to civil code education in high school ideology and politics classes,mainly in the following aspects: there is a certain deviation in the educational objectives;the educational content is not deeply explored;students’ knowledge learning is superficial and their usage ability is weak.In order to solve the above problems,this paper proposes four implementation strategies for optimizing civil code education in high school ideology and politics classes:First,clarifying the overall requirements for civil code education in high school ideology and politics classes by sorting out the levels of teaching grades and teaching contents and specifying the objectives of civil code education in high school ideology and politics classes.Secondly,to enrich the content of civil code education in high school ideology and politics classes by combining the legislative history of the civil code,the principles of the civil code and the actual lives of students.Thirdly,through teachers’ own learning,the education department and schools should work together to establish a training mechanism for teachers to teach the Civil Code and strengthen the teaching staff of the Civil Code through multiple channels in order to improve the Civil Code literacy and teaching standards of teachers of high school ideology and politics.Fourthly,from the perspective of practical education,a long-term mechanism for civil code education in high school ideology and politics classes should be built by strengthening the synergy of the trinity of home,school and society. |
