With the implementation of high school Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education nationwide,the learning task group of "whole book reading and discussion" has become the focus of scholars and teachers,and it has become a new requirement for middle school Chinese teachers to improve the core Chinese literacy of students in the process of school learning.According to the current teaching status of the whole book reading in high school Chinese,many high school Chinese teachers need to systematically and extensively study and discuss the whole book reading teaching,among which the analysis and research of the reading text is conducive to the scientific and efficient teaching of the whole book reading.This paper discusses how to improve students' Chinese core literacy through the reading teaching of the whole book "A Dream of Red Mansions",and conducts teaching design through inductive analysis of the text of "A Dream of Red Mansions",in order to enrich the content of reading teaching of the whole book "A Dream of Red Mansions".The research methods are literature analysis and comparative study.The first part is the introduction,mainly including the reason of the topic,research significance,research status,research ideas and methods.The second part(Chapter 1)is mainly about the study of A Dream of Red Mansions as a cultural book.Firstly,it discusses the relationship between literature and culture,from which it finds the elements of Chinese traditional culture reflected in Chinese literary works.Secondly,it probes into the part of Chinese traditional culture embodied in A Dream of Red Mansions,which reflects the characteristics of A Dream of Red Mansions as an excellent cultural reader.Finally,the author analyzes and expounds the present situation of "A Dream of Red Mansions" and middle school reading teaching.The third part(Chapter 2 to Chapter 3)mainly introduces the reading teaching of the whole book from the perspective of cultural inheritance and understanding of core literacy,which divides cultural inheritance and understanding of core literacy into two parts for exploration.The second chapter to the book a dream of red mansions to enhance cultural understanding of teaching literacy related inquiry,the first section is a dream of red mansions of religious culture,for example,as "a dream of red mansions" in the second quarter the whole book reading religious culture teaching strategies,with the third chapter for the book a dream of red mansions to enhance cultural heritage literacy teaching related inquiry,The first section takes the traditional festival culture in A Dream of Red Mansions as an example,and the second section is the teaching strategies for reading traditional festival culture in the whole book.Based on the exploration of the reading teaching of the whole book A Dream of Red Mansions from the perspective of cultural inheritance and understanding of core literacy,the following conclusions are drawn: teachers should systematically plan extra-curricular reading,arrange specific reading progress and follow up in real time;Designing scientific reading methods,such as designing reading cards for students to collect and summarize after class;Correct guidance should be given to classroom teaching to help students carry out analysis and discussion on characters and plots to promote teaching,and finally achieve the teaching goal of reading the whole book A Dream of Red Mansions according to the promotion of cultural inheritance and understanding.
