| In recent years,under the policy construction of the central government,the unremitting efforts of experts and scholars in the field of social work and experienced social workers in practice,social work has developed rapidly in a short period of time,and an important breakthrough has been achieved in the professionalization and institutionalization of social work.As an important institutional design essential in modern society,social work has played an active role in participating in grassroots social governance,promoting social justice and building a harmonious society.The development of social work plays a key role in enhancing the effectiveness of national governance and innovating the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity.The core of China’s social work system is the cultivation,evaluation,use and motivation of social work talents,and the high-quality development of social work requires a team of social work talents who adhere to work ethics at all times.Previous studies have found that an authentic leadership style can enhance the work ethic of employees,which in turn stimulates work enthusiasm and increases work efficiency and job satisfaction.Therefore,this study proposes and tests the mechanism of authentic leadership on social workers’ work ethics and the moderating mechanism of leadership identity and organizational identity,with a view to suggesting some recommendations for authentic leadership and internal governance in social work organizations,in order to effectively enhance social workers’ work ethics and ensure the development of social work is high-quality.The following hypothesis is proposed and tested based on the authentic leadership theory: in social work organizations,authentic leadership can influence social workers’ work ethics not only directly,but also indirectly through influencing the organizational ethical climate,and the effect of authentic leadership on social workers’ work ethics is moderated by social workers’ leadership identity,and the effect of organizational ethical climate on social workers’ work ethics is moderated by social workers’ organizational identity.The effect of organizational ethical climate on social workers’ work ethics was moderated by social workers’ organizational identity.The data to test the hypotheses were obtained from 362 social workers in 56 social work organizations in the ChengduChongqing area.Statistical analyses were conducted using SPSS25.0 and AMOS26.0software for common method deviation test,descriptive analysis,correlation analysis,mediated path analysis and moderated path analysis.The finding displayed the construction paths of social workers’ work ethics are as follows:(1)Authentic leadership can motivate and promote social workers’ work ethics;(2)A good organizational ethics climate is conducive to the gestation and development of social workers’ work ethics;(3)Authentic leadership promotes the internalization and development of social workers’ work ethics by building a good organizational ethical climate;(4)To enhance the social worker’s leadership identity,which can strengthen the positive impact of authentic leadership on the work ethics of social workers;(5)Enhancing social workers’ organizational identity can strengthen the positive effect of organizational ethical climate on social workers’ work ethics.Finally,based on authentic leadership,three levels of inspiration and reference are provided for the path of building work ethics for social workers: firstly,leaders of social work organizations should actively use and actively develop an authentic leadership style;secondly,relevant departments of the Ministry of Civil Affairs should make every effort to ensure the operation and management of social work organizations based on authentic leadership theory;thirdly,the leadership and management of social work institutions should focus on enhancing the leadership identity and organizational identity of social workers.In order to achieve the ambitious goals of developing social work with high quality,improving the leadership and management of social work agencies,and promoting the building of a professional social work workforce... |
