Composition writing is an essential component of Chinese language teaching.It involves accurately expressing knowledge and emotions through written language to meet various needs,such as conveying information,expressing emotions,and persuading others.During the process of composition writing,students transform their thinking process into written expression,requiring appropriate language skills and the ability to structure and develop their composition around a central theme.However,in actual teaching,composition instruction often faces challenges of "difficulties in teaching for teachers" and "difficulties in mastering for students".Graphic organizers are a type of thinking tool that can transform students’ implicit composition thinking into visual forms,helping teachers and students further process and improve the content of their compositions,thus providing better support for composition instruction.Based on relevant theories,this study constructs a primary school composition teaching design framework based on graphic organizers,aiming to provide effective teaching support for teachers and address the problems faced in primary school composition instruction.This study aims to construct a graphic organizer-based framework for teaching elementary school composition.Firstly,by reviewing and analyzing relevant domestic and foreign research,this study defines concepts such as graphic organizers,composition,and teaching design.Based on this foundation,a survey and interview investigation was conducted on elementary school Chinese composition teaching to explore its current situation.It was found that there were problems such as inadequate composition evaluation and guidance,and a single teaching method.At the same time,an analysis of the reasons for these problems showed that teachers lacked attention to the student’s subjective position in teaching design and that composition teaching design lacked systematicity.Secondly,this study,guided by theories such as third-order thinking,knowledge visualization,and constructivist learning theory,developed a graphic organizer-based framework for teaching elementary school composition.Finally,using the graphic organizer-based framework,this study selected composition content from the standardized textbook and designed teaching cases for analysis,aiming to provide a reference for frontline teachers.
