Base on the demand of curriculum reform and the characterization of the chemical subject, the study method of graphic organizer was used to chemical teaching in high school. Such method not only could help the teacher improve the chemical teaching quality, but also could help students understand well the studied knowledge after class because graphic organizer could change the abstract knowledge in mind into visual graphics to strengthen the understanding of knowledge. Therefore, applying the method of graphic organizer to chemistry teaching will be interesting.This study has been processed in both classes of one and two of grade ten in the N0.3Middle School of Korla in Xinjiang province. During the study, the teacher prepared the lesson using the graphic organizer method and the multimedia technology to rich the content. In chemical class, the teacher taught the chemical knowledge using graphic organizer method to make writing content on blackboard more clearer and easier understanding. After class, the teacher helped students how to use graphic organizers to review lessens and how to apply it into other subject. By investigating students’leaning regularly, doing the questionnaire survey find the pros and cons of using graphics.After three months of teaching study using graphic organizer method, we can get following conclusions:using graphic organizers could improve the efficiency and quality of teaching design, and could be used to different types of chemical knowledge, as well as could improve students leaning efficiency and interesting in lesson, help students to do the migration of knowledge. Differences in record performance for students made the different ability in accepting graphic organizer method. The record is better, the accepting is faster. However, after a period of training by graphic organizer method, the learning ability of poor record student is improved obviously.
