| The report of the 20th Party Congress has put forward clear requirements for the comprehensive development of mass sports and the construction of a modern industrial system.Sports tourism demonstration base is an important carrier for the implementation of the national strategy of national fitness,and is also a model for accelerating the deep integration of sports tourism industry and promoting the transformation and upgrading of sports industry structure.In recent years,sports tourism demonstration bases in Shandong Province have flourished,and 14 national and provincial sports tourism demonstration bases with certain popularity and representativeness have emerged,such as Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center,Linyi Snow Mountain Rainbow Valley Sports Tourism Base and Jinan Crouching Tiger Mountain Ski Base.However,in the process of their development,there are still problems of poor management efficiency and difficulties in balancing economic,social,cultural and ecological benefits,which have hindered their sustainable development.Therefore,it is of great practical and theoretical significance to design the development path of Shandong Province’s sports tourism demonstration bases from a holistic,systematic and dynamic perspective,in order to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development of Shandong Province’s sports tourism demonstration bases.This study uses expert interviews,Delphi method,hierarchical analysis and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to sort out the current situation and problems of the development of sports tourism demonstration bases in Shandong Province.On this basis,the ecosystem theory is introduced as the theoretical basis,and the core view of the ecological development of sports tourism demonstration bases in Shandong Province is proposed,considering the development of sports tourism demonstration bases in Shandong Province as a holistic and systematic problem.The system of ecological development of sports tourism demonstration bases in Shandong Province was constructed,and one national and one provincial sports tourism demonstration base in Shandong Province was selected through a stratified sampling method to conduct an empirical study on its ecological development,and then to design the path of ecological development of sports tourism demonstration bases in Shandong Province.The following conclusions were drawn from the study:(1)The ecological development of sports tourism demonstration bases in Shandong Province is a development model that likens sports tourism demonstration bases to a complex symbiotic,dynamically evolving,open and shared ecosystem,and realises the holistic,synergistic and sustainable development of sports tourism demonstration bases through the interconnection and circulation within and outside the system,while taking into account the economic,social,cultural and ecological benefits of multiple parties.This model views the sports tourism demonstration base as a system,adheres to the system concept,takes ecological development as the goal orientation,and emphasises the synergistic and sustainable development of the elements.(2)The development of sports tourism demonstration bases in Shandong Province now presents the growing integration of sports tourism,culture and business,the good exploitation of sports tourism resources,the gradual rationalization of the location layout,the development policy tends to be favourable,and the brand influence is increasing.At the same time,there are the real problems of insufficient radiation-driven role,strong seasonal restrictions on product supply,the resilience of the protection mechanism is not yet sound,and the brand image effect is weak to release.Reflecting the current Shandong Province sports tourism demonstration base still need to play on the basis of the existing advantages,still need to fill the shortcomings,adjust the structure,to achieve ecological development.(3)The ecological development of sports tourism demonstration bases in Shandong Province has multiple values,which can promote the construction of modern sports industry system in Shandong Province,establish the brand image of quality sports tourism,coordinate the internal and external benefits of sports tourism demonstration bases,and precisely meet the needs of people’s good sports life,etc.(4)The ecological development system of sports tourism demonstration bases in Shandong Province is composed of four elements.In descending order of weight,they are base construction elements,macro environment elements,external environment elements and management construction elements.The base construction element provides the basic material guarantee for ecological development;the macro environment element plays the overall role of policy support and co-ordination;the external environment element reflects the changes in the macro environment and plays the role of regulation and guidance;the management construction element is the important pivot linking the other three.(5)The ecological development path of Shandong Province’s sports tourism demonstration base is guided by Xi Jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era;the basic principles of diversified development,synergy and sharing,and dynamic evolution;the overall goal of promoting the construction of Shandong Province’s modern sports industry system;the specific paths available include:demand-oriented improvement of infrastructure construction,sustainable optimization of management construction,innovation as a means to balance internal and external demand,and sustainable development.The specific paths available include:demand-oriented improvement of
