| In the current educational reform,core literacy has become an important direction in middle school history education.As a key figure in cultivating students’ core competencies,high school history teachers’ professional development level has a significant impact on the formation and development of students’ core competencies.The professional development of high school history teachers requires them to continuously update the theoretical methods of history education and apply them to teaching practice,in order to gradually improve their teaching ability and professional literacy.The core competencies of the history discipline have put forward new requirements for high school history teachers in terms of professional concepts,knowledge,and abilities,pointing out new directions for teacher development.By investigating the professional development status of teachers under core competencies,clarifying the characteristics of teacher professional development,exploring the internal connection between core competencies and the professional development of high school history teachers,and exploring feasible solutions to promote teacher professional development.Taking high school history teachers in Harbin,Heilongjiang Province as a case study,this study investigates the true level of professional development of high school history teachers,analyzes the complex factors and practical difficulties that affect professional development,and proposes that as internal factors that affect professional development,high school history teachers should strengthen their awareness of independent development,update their professional concepts,optimize their knowledge structure,strengthen their professional abilities,and enhance their professional development level;Society and schools should optimize policy layout and guarantee mechanisms,actively improve the working environment of teachers,effectively increase teacher salaries and benefits,improve teacher training mechanisms,improve teacher evaluation mechanisms,enrich school-based teaching and research forms,vigorously promote education and teaching reform,and promote teacher professional development.It will greatly benefit high school history teachers to better understand and apply the concept of core competencies,improve their professional development level,and adapt to the needs and challenges of the times. |
