Since the implementation of the "Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools"(revised in 2017 and 2020),the core competencies and learning task groups of Chinese language have been important contents of the new curriculum reform.The new curriculum standard has greatly changed and integrated the structure and content of the Chinese subject,and proposed 18 Chinese learning task groups,which is of great significance for improving students’ comprehensive practical ability.With the continuous deepening of the new curriculum reform,a large number of unified textbooks have begun to be popularized.According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education,all provinces are required to use unified teaching materials in the autumn semester of 2022.However,due to the fact that teachers and students in some regions are using unified teaching materials for the first time,they lack certain theoretical and practical guidance in learning task groups and overall unit teaching.Especially,the theme unit of "Youth Value" belongs to the learning task group of "Literary Reading and Writing" and the beginning of unit teaching,which is of self-evident importance.Based on this,this study will,in the context of the new curriculum reform,investigate and study the problems that frontline teachers face in teaching the "Youth Value" theme unit,and propose corresponding teaching strategies to address the problems,striving to provide practical and feasible teaching methods for frontline teaching.This study mainly consists of four parts.The introduction section mainly elaborates on the reason for selecting the topic,research purpose and significance,research status,research methods,etc.The first chapter is about the characteristics of the "Youth Value" theme unit,mainly analyzing the "Youth Value" theme unit from three aspects:unit introduction,learning prompts,and unit learning tasks.The second chapter mainly aims to understand the current situation and existing problems of the "Youth Value" theme unit teaching under the "Literary Reading and Writing" task group through a survey questionnaire.The third chapter proposes optimization strategies for the teaching of the "Youth Value"theme unit under the "Literary Reading and Writing" task group based on the investigation,such as focusing on core competencies,promoting resource integration,designing pre class guidance based on teaching tasks,promoting classroom extension,deepening learning,creating real situations,and driving students’ thinking.Chapter 4 is a teaching practice and design evaluation of the "Youth Value" theme unit based on the "Literary Reading and Writing" task group.It mainly focuses on the optimization strategy proposed in Chapter 3,and provides a brief evaluation of the teaching design of the "Youth Value" theme unit from two different perspectives.
